General rule is 4k btu per 1000w regardless of bulb type. Hope smell isn't an issue since using hose for exhaust makes hard to scrub of smell.

i run a single hose portable LG, rated as follows: 8000 BTU (ASHRAE-128 Standard) / 5500 BTU (DOE 2017 Standard)
it cools 520cft/64 sq ft with 1 open bulb 600 hps and 800 watts of led strips. it cools it very well in fact.
i vent through the ceiling into the attic

No smell np have large carbon filter on extraction

i haven't tried to scrub mine yet. it would have to be on the backside, in the attic. biggest trick would be converting oval exahust mount to round scubber mount.
with that said, smell isn't an issue for me.

Like I'm using 2 630 cmh a 90pint dehum and a 10000btu a.c. and I just make it work by a hair. My hoods aren't vented due to using grow beast hoods

If you do that air has to be replaced from somewhere so you will need that intake hole at least. Or go with can coil cooling to do a sealed room. Or a non portable/window unit and go big for the 2k plus a.c. units that just pull the heat outside to the base unit.

Yeah you would have to blow I to a carbon filter since you can't suck it out at the beginning. But since no smell issue your rocking

if anyone ever nails down the roadkill skunk genetics i will have to look into scrubbing. the mailman and ups dude might smell that !!!!!

You can yeah but just cuz the scrubber is working don't mean the a.c. won't pull smell outside. Also if your removing air from the room it has to replace it from some where. Why i said keep the intake if ya have one

To truly seal the room you have no air moving in or out. So you would rely on co2 for replenishing your air for the plants and a system to cool the plants. Here is my example of cooling for sealed room. This is can coil cooling

To be honest it's very very easy to do yourself but recommended to be done professionally if you don't want to attempt or have no knowledge or ability to gain it.

I would do the can coil they use basically near no watts compared to a a.c. unit

Just cost of fan watts and watter chiller if using usually add up to under 600watts. Also can skip chiller if using hose that's buried under ground to act like a chiller for the heat in the water. It's the econo way to chill rooms. Each can coil does average of 6k but of cooling with proper water temps running through it.
