Would be rad to hook up and smoke some weed mabey go to Multnomah falls or something.
grew up in hood river, while it was a shame, certainly not the first time it burned or was logged for that matter....after they logged it around 84 and mud snow of 85; rocks came down onto the freeway and crushed a car with casualties. This was all way before the gorge became a national scenic area and after they logged the piss out of it, the timber companies who at the time were responsible for its inevitable upkeep, which was never enforced, flipped the land to the gov and walked away liability free...and took those possible upkeep jobs in the community as well....and this was all in mid 80s to early 90s, not all that long ago....Love the gorge one the greatest spots on Earth which is a common sentiment coming from many foreign locals, windsurfers of course, coming back from the North Shore to hit Bingen Mosier and the like during spring squalls, sIf only you could, damn kids from Washington burned down the whole area. I like to let my dogs loose in the Sandy River delta's 1,000 acre park. Could spend a lifetime just in there discovering, and love the fact I can just let my dogs run around without worrying about a leash. They love taking a swim in the rivers and since it is 15 minutes from me it is a nice quick getaway. There is no other dog park like it in the world, I can guarantee you that.grew up in hood river, while it was a shame, certainly not the first time it burned or was logged for that matter....after they logged it around 84 and mud snow of 85; rocks came down onto the freeway and crushed a car with casualties.
