some of that scenery is so beautiful but I just couldn't hack the elements. Maybe when I was 25 but not now. I grumble about walking the 20 steps to the warm car.haha...love that show

Hi all! The weather's clearing here for now but we saw 5F this morning and more snow is coming Monday and Tuesday.
Spring can't get here fast enough!
Anyways just wanted to say howdy!! I can't stay, just found out mom is in the hospital, possible heart failure. I've got to plan my trip down to Ga to see her. Please keep her in your thoughts

She has a pulmonary embolism and they can't treat it without setting off the dormant aneurysms in her brain. Her kidneys are starting to fail

Thank you all very much for your kind words.
I am still at home. Mama died yesterday before I could leave. I'm just beside myself, I couldn't bear leaving. My support system is here and I didn't want to be stuck in Ga for a week. Her memorial isn't until Saturday, a week from today.

I lost my mother a couple of years ago as well and as far as I can tell the pain never really goes away - but it does dull a bit with time.

I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me about mama. Her memorial was this past Saturday, I've been pretty busy and on the go but finally am home now. So, without further ado...
