I have to ask...are you using Long-season girl Cure guides/times...?
IMO..AF's cure and smoke faster than long-seasons...

and don't worry about the green smell..it will disappear as the girls dry..
the trics shrink/ripen..and start to give more smell..shortly after.

Hearts like lions my friend, if they survive the off season they will a cup :) You breed some tough, consistent plants. Not only does it show that there tough it shows that they can be grown anywhere anyway and by any one.

We learned so much about the abilities as well as the different methods to use in what types of areas and also what not to do lol.

You outgrew me..with the same genetics..

mine were between 11 and 14 g's..and yours off the top of me head was 64 g's..
so if I can adapt My growing to match Yours..
then I can expect all my Standard 1 ounce phenos to come off @ 4-5 ounces..:-P

Its a nice even trade off, and you get to watch
you little ones grow and flourish and be more than you thought that they could be

Im just glad to be able to grow and care for them
they have been a joy to grow and the med benefits
have been outstanding.

And i dont think that it will be too long and well bee seeing 4 and 5 ouncers over there on the patio.

I hear ya and it seems that hes is quite into her. She was quite a beauty to be honest. His growing has really come around, and hes growing some heavy ladies.

I figure once i see my cross take shape itll be the same for me.

Thank you sir, and the Bad betties were a treat to watch grow. I can get my lamp pretty close with the setup i made. Once they stop the flower stretch and start to form heads
i drop the light close to get the light in there:) I can keep it as close as 5 inches with out burning tops

No..normally I have 4 or 5 versions of a cross running..and maybe a BX..
so when I decide which One I want to run with I dump the rest of the seed.

I'd rather make a cross and shelve it..
than not have made the cross at all.

I run with FullD's thoughts that seeding a girl does not make that much difference to THC production as we have been led to believe.

Why...?..

Its a female and pistils are increasing everyday. The 2nd pic is of a BLUE HUMALAYA at 11 days old, no sex yet. The 3rd pic is of a AK48 at 17 days old and just showed her first pistils early today. The set up i have is a 400 watt hps on a 18/6 schedule. FFOF soil with big bloom,tiger bloom and molasses. Water about every 2-5 days, gave small doses of nutes every other water(big bloom) at 1/4 strength to start. If you notice something that doesnt look right, please let me know, as this is my first grow and am still learning. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!! and happy growing to all

Lol actually I smoked a lil nugg this morning. It got me ripped didn't taste that great and was kinda harsh. It did burn well. It didn't turn to a hard black piece. It burned in to a nice soft gray ash. After reading a drying and curing thread on here bh ganjaluvr I am sure it is over dryed. Oh well I am definitely happy with the stone but I know I need to dry and cure the final harvest properly! U mentioned that autos dry and cure faster. I did not know that I was planning on the long girl dry and cure. You have any suggestion for a rookie? Thanks for any advice!

More than happy i started the thread, everyone has far surpassed my expectations.

ChronicDoom: You just need them to dry slower. You want the Chlorophyll to break down a bit before they hit the jars. I always thought that waiting until the stem snaps was a bit too late. I put mine into jars when they still bend but the buds feel dry. Then i burp them more often, some times leave the lids off for a few hours. You don't want them to get moldy. Long and slow hasn't failed me yet.
3/7 day hang, 3-8 weeks in jars. Your conditions will differ but as long as you get them in jars while still a tad moist your going in the right direction. I have re hydrated buds to restart the cure process. I wouldn't confirm that it actually works though. I find some buds need some moisture to do the trick.

I am also curious how mossy does it. :D As i didn't really change much from long season cures.

Soo glad you got some clean smoke, when the ash burns grey and clean like that. You flushed them properly. So remember what you did this round and repeat next time.

BigHill thanks for the advice. I am pleased with the clean smoke! Having that grey ash is important to me! Just as important as high and taste IMO! So right now I have two out of the three. I'm sure once they have cured properly that the taste will be there also. I came home from work and took a couple bong hits and was ripped. Very happy Getting ripped from my own budz! Dam what a great feeling! Well tonight the light goes out for good on this grow! Main Harvest soon! Thanks again BH!
