Just keeping the thread going ....... No bonus points .... Lol

That SEA OF SOLO idea kinda hit a couple bumps ... 2 plants took off like a rocket with one more barely throwing a tip ( may scuttle that one ) all the other 6 seeds never germed. GOD DAMN IT ! *raises fist

But decided throw a bunch more into a clam shell container to " hopefully " pop open ... I am thinking maybe this bag of MISC. SEEDS may not be viable. It's day 2 so finger crossed. Anyways I have two girls doing their thing. I was hoping for a bunch to be at the same stage but that didn't happen. Using the seedling heat mat to make them cozy.

May look into some other " seed prep " methods for future germing older stock .
Cuz I'm fresh out of unicorn piss ....

I have my tent set up for veg and will run some practice cups. I'm going to veg 18 hours and grow some big Christmas trees and some large bushes before putting the cups in flower. I want to see if I can sustain a larger plant in a cup with soil for future comps.

I was able to get some good pictures this week. Still drinking very heavy.

It may be hard to see that they are still fattening. The picture of the 5 plants shows #5 is now passing #2 where in previous weeks they were closer in size.

8 weeks flowering. How many more IDK.
If they follow true to their larger sisters the calyxes will still swell at some point then it takes about another 5 to 7 days for the crystals to turn about 50% milky, that is when I usually chop. I hope it will show in the pictures. I can see that change without a scope.

My entry finally got the chop yesterday.
BC Diesel at about 9-10weeks I think.

I just left it to dry in the cup for the last 3 days, instead of watering daily. Pulled the big leaves and gave it a light trim, it'll hang dry for about a week. And then break it down into nugs for jarring. Maybe another dry trim if it's needed.

Obligatory comparison shot..I expected to get about 7g from the whole thing before the grow started. I think I'm pushing 10here!! Haha double figures will make me very happy, because this smells amazing! Super sweet, fruity berry smell, with a diesel after taste ( or after smell, lol). :bigjoint:

This grow has been so much fun to do. A pain at times, yes, bit still fun. I think I actually learned a lot from this experience.
Well done to all that entered, I'm sure we all encountered issues along the way and picked up some knowledge useful for future grows...as well as some dank smoke to boot! Haha

I chopped today.
A few things to note: the buds are foxtailing which is something new to me. I don't know if it is genetics or something I did to cause it. The roots are green - possibly the styrofoam cup allowed light through and the plant decided to use it? The roots were never allowed to dry out during its life and every time it was watered, it was watered with nutrients.

I was going to post that the list may not be accurate last time.
If it is this time we have 18 people making it to harvest with both comps combined not counting Richard Rahl. Both combined started with about 50 players. The % that made it to harvest is higher than in past comps from what I've read about past comps.

She's been curing at least a week plus or so ... But is RH stable so here she is.
She weighed out @18 grams .

Smells a bit earthy sweet .... Nothing over the top but pleasant.

She will get a TASTING in a couple more weeks.

Great job - looks very frosty and tasty.

I believe you are in the lead as far as dry weight goes. Hopefully Cleatus will keep some heft after drying. I trimmed off all fan leaves and she is currently sitting at 107 grams. So, rule of (Big Green) thumb says dry weight is around 20% of wet weight = 21.4 grams - stems, etc = gonna be close! Come on, Cleatus the Trailer Park Queen!
