Surely quantity is everything then, a thin layer would be one thing, an inch deep is something else.

His tray is ribbed, so if the water stays below the top of the ribs then surely it can't be absorbed...

I'm putting a hole in it. It wouldn't wick
it well anyway. I line the bottom of the cup/pot with hydroton with everything I do. I'd rather hope to get a little air down there than leave it in a pool of water. I'll pass on the root rot.

Come on. Don't start up with this. I said sponsor and I don't mean the prize sponsors. I mean the host or the one running the comp.

I admitted to getting bent out of shape and jumping the gun. I misread a quote, got bent out of shape and started this comp. Now what? I started it. I will see it through to the end. I have no interest in arguing or shit talking.

Now. About your comp. Yes. Its in your favor. Is it not? You eliminated hempy style growing. Its kind of skewed to favor your growing technique. Its no biggie. If its not, then why not allow hempy?

I wanted this comp to be a good comparison grow. I mean everyone claims how great led is. Lets see what it can do. Its why I decided to allow any type of light. Some will use led and some hid. Lets see how the numbers turn out

I took my ball home to play somewhere else. I'm not welcome in your thread then do the same here.

There is absolutely no reason to say something as nasty as you have.

Totally respect that. I just thought that the vitriol he (dawg) came in here with was a bit much considering the topic. I prefer to save my anger for real life shit. A contest on an internet forum just doesn't seem worth getting spiteful over.

Too late for time zone bollocks, I needed a leak at 0100 CET, just over 2 hours ago, since its now the 14th here so the seed's in the water.
