Pumice & custom fabric raised bed

Used for bonsai's and the only place i can find locally sourcing it.

Other options are leca/clay aggregates and a good quality perlite.

I was also thinking of making a custom fabric raised bed for my 2x2x3 tent so i can save height to get a better canopy as i want to do a quick 250w grow for some bud while i get my 10 gallons sorted for my 600w 3x3 cab. I could also then use the raised bed for a mother or two and my clones.

So if i make a raised bed thats 15" long x 15" wide x 7.8" High ( totals just over 8 gallons ) would this be ideal to support life or should i just go for a normal 7/10 gallon fabric pot & just train the hell out of the lady ?

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you all

I prefer Pumice to Perilite in my soil mix because it doesn't crush or float to the top and wash away in the rain. I get it in bulk at a farm supply store in my area.

Might wanna shop around your area a bit if you are paying such a premium. It's about the same price as Perilite where I'm at. Farm supply stores should carry it. It's just a bulk product where I'm at. No name brand. I'd call around.

The bonsai guys have some of the best soil mixes around because their plants have to sit in the same pot for decades.
