Purple Elephant & Clone Update

Here is an update on my “Purple Elephant” that’s around four weeks into flowering and a clone from that plant.

I think I may have stressed it, but I want to know if using 2 – 14 watt (60 watt) CFL’s is enough light to revert the cutting back to vegetative state? I didn't have a way to keep that plant lit so I put it in my clone buckets. Hell, I figure if it works, use it. Any tips or ideas? Please help.

I would like to make a mother plant to clone from.

yes... as any light that is typically stronger than the moonlight which would interrupt its dark period will cause it to reveg...

you will always want to keep the dark period consistent...

oh... nevermind lol re re moment for me there... thought you were talking about the re-veging of the purp elephant... ;)

yeah just give the cutting 24 hrs for the first couple of weeks then dial it down from there... ;)

the soil should sustain it for a couple weeks tops... then give it some N in small doses, to up its veg production to get its legs up and running again...

then when big enough just follow a normal routine with feeding etc...

still lookin good btw... and clones that were taken from a flowering mom will always look a little bit funky when going back into reveg... so i dont think it is stress at all... as long as it keeps growing then it is a good sign... it will take some time for it to start to produce those lovely 5 fingered leaves again but no biggie they'll come back... ;)

the tops of the purp elephant in 4wks looks to have some unusual growth, but that could be cause you took some clones from it, and or just be sure no light leaks or darkness interruptions to the one you have already in 4th wk of flowering...

you should have your clone room or veg room(or area) sealed off from its light from spilling onto the hours that the flowering plants are in darkness... otherwise your 4wk is going to reveg...

so if you have to just keep the tub outside of the closet when the one you got in flowering now is in its nighttime...

cause you dont want to have to trap the poor clones in a sealed tub to overheat just so that it doesnt effect the other currently flowering one...

Yeah I know they are going to be stressed I took them after the mother had already gone into flower. Others have said it will work and so far they are still alive have started to show a new root mass. I'm really just trying to see what will happen while I'm building my new room.
