Got some nighttime shots. Budding well - smells has started to come in now. Smells very unique.. like a herbal floral berry? Going to be nice going through the terpene spectrum as she matures.

This girl is packing on weight at an insane rate and is very hungry.
Only just started seeing amber pistils for the first time which usually means she’s just over halfway.
Deffo another 4 weeks of budding to be had here which ain’t a bad thing!

Took some night time shots. Smelling good now, nice rich deep red berry smell with hits of floral notes.
Not what I was after when I planted this so it’s all going to be judged on high. I wanted an uplifting strain to start flavour was always second.

You should try to find Fantasmo Express from Mephisto. It's the most giggly, laughing non stop weed I've ever had. I have social anxiety and some depression, but this shit made me feel so good and like a normal human after smoking. It's definitely pick me up and enjoy life kind of weed. It's for bad days and that party where you just want to laugh and feel good. Never had this feeling from any other yet.

I wonder if the purple gene comes from the ruderalis side? I’ve grown a GC GG4 auto for a few summers now and never had the purple come out that I did last summer. And there definitely wasn’t any cold during our summer in Cali lol. Same terps as prior years too so I crossed out a label mix up.
This is the main reason I dont grow autos, I’d be so damn mad if I found a plant that had such great benefits but couldn’t clone to keep around.

Except that you can make seeds from them and Mephisto has thier strains bread fo 4 to 9 generations to lock in what they want in the strain. I really don't think I'll have much of a difference in plant when i grow her again except she'll be in 4-5 gal of coco this time instead of 2 liter pop bottle.

fantastic girl ..... noticed you mentioned “ head high “ as dominate characteristic ..... try a tropical sativa ( Thai dom ) , me thinks that may be where your purps are from. Most strains list a ratio of Sativa % and its indica percentage..... but what Sativa was bred ?
Now a days I take listed strain lineage with a grain of salt ...... hard to know if it really is as stated.
Either way , if it checks all the boxes , then you are good.

I just noticed a distinct purple pheno in one of my Durban Poisons. Bought a 5 pack from Dutch Passion. 3 are in flower and 1 just started looking like OP’s pictures above.
2weeks into flower but took a couple cuttings of Purple Poison

Found a random purple in 1 out of my 5 Durban Poisons. Otherwise looks the same strain and growth as the others. Didn’t notice until now, 2 weeks into flowering 3 of them.Though I’d share these photos while she’s still in early flower (49 days since pop) I’ve never seen a purple phenotype of green crack anywhere so I guess I got lucky.
Anyways thought it looks really cool and against the vibrant green.
Should turn out to be a stunner. Will update every week or couple weeks

Your pics are really good; that is basically what my rando is like- dark all on flowers and stems leading up to them.

I hope so! I tried some fastbuds g14 last night. Again it was a purple pheno - lucky me huh?
Very uplifting high - when it was suppose to be more relaxing. Well it is relaxing just stimulating, I get the feeling I have to do something lol Which is very similar to the G13 I tried.
My thinking is the purple trait has to have some uplifting properties.
We shall see.
I ran out of Kali Mist which was like rocket fuel. Gonna have to do a photoperiod run to stock up haha

No way I ran a Durban poison from DP just recently which showed a bit of purple. All other 6 seeds didn’t from previous runs.
Such A shame they discontinued their line. Super uplifting smoke!

I’m still a noob when it comes to seed purveyors. I think they sent me the free Fem Blueberry seeds that sprouted an early-pollen male. I dusted a couple flowers on my Banana Kush Auto- hopefully produces something nice I can stabilize the auto-gene in.
Going to cross another uplifting African Sativa, Kwazulu, with my Durban Poison. Male KZ, Fem DP. I will probably mail out some “collector” seeds to folks here interested, if I get a worthy amount- would be nice to see what seasoned pros do with it.

Seems like you might be on to something with purple Thai. Found this picture which looks so similar in bud stricter colouring and the white hairs even look to be the same.
Also the smells match the description perfectly. Very berry like with hints of a deep musky note.
