Quantity Used for MMJ Users?

I was reading something about the price of MMJ vs street value. Someone said that MMJ patients could consume up to an ounce a week. They also said that it runs about $350 for an ounce of MMJ, so that's about $1,200 a month for MMJ.

I thought that someone using an ounce a week of quality cannabis is kind of pushing it. If I had to smoke an ounce of nice pot a week, I don't think I would move all week. How much do you smoke if you're an MMJ patient?

It'll always depend on the strains true strength. I agree. No way will I ever be able smoke an ounce (a week) of what I smoke.

i would say depending on what ailment you are using medical cannabis for has alot to do with dosage...i personally have to medicate first thing in the am when i wake up...usually on my lunch break...once again when home from work and usually a little nap before dinner only to lead into the HUGE session prior to bed time...so the zip a week is about where i am at smoking 5-6 times a day. i also medicate with my fiancee so sometimes its abit overkill and goes from "medicating" to "wtf..." haha. i also know people who only medicate in the AM and in PM they go through a zip a month...there is just to many different factors to really pin point a "how much do you need to medicate" type of question, only YOU know what the proper dosage is for YOU

are you a med user
the amount you use would depend on the amount of pain etc your trying to get relief from.
i smoke 2/3 joint's before i go to bed to stop the spasms in my leg's, as i've got ms.
if i needed to i could get through an ounce

I'm not a med. user, my state won't allow it. As soon as I can be, I will be though.

It really depends.

I don't have my card yet because I decided to blow
my money on clothes and more bud.

But I use it to sleep and for my frequent headaches.
Some times I don't have headaches for days,

other times I get a headache twice a day!!!
Some turn to migraines.

Thats when its time to smoke a few bowls.
And I usually smoke every night to help me sleep
because I wake up alot during the night.

I usually smoke one before bed. I have trouble falling asleep sometimes. I also get really bad cramps in my abdomen on occasion. Bud eases those right away.

MY License is for 3 g's a day so I can carry 90 g's, grow15 plants and have 675g' s in storage,,, God bless Canada eh,,,

Do you smoke 3 g's a day? That's like 3 ounces a month.

Depends on how bad my pain is... wet damp coldweather I go thru way more than in the summer time....
