I’m running 9 qb132 controlled through three potentiometers with digital multimeter feedback. I have my fixture broken down to three zones, for decent control of light intensity. I Have thoughts to add some vertical led strips with red and blue as primary, has anyone done this and timed it so they come on before and end after main lighting? 208E16CC-4D6E-4A54-8570-539420CB2698.jpeg Thoughts/suggestions? I need to make new plaques as I changed my original plans after I
Made them . I tried to keep my build clean and I find the quantum board lighting to be amazing in such a small package. The thin boards make frame work easy, they hang from the tent with out causing flex and they run relatively cool. Pushing about 65w per board (found I could drive them upwards of 90w) the tent after settling in and no intake fan - only vacuum draw from the 189cfm fan and carbon exhaust - my temp probe mounted at canopy level in the open under direct light, at about 24” is 80 def f. It was a hot day, no AC In the main room. I’m seeing a differential of about 6-7 deg. Not sure if I should Ac the much larger space (not ideal) or run and intake fan (would run 189cfm intake fan to splitter supplying intake to a 4x4 tent and a 4x5 tent. Looking for most cost effective and efficient means. Typically this space stays pretty cool, prob maximum by out in the mid 70s (when it’s mid 80s out). Cost comparison, fan is 50-80$ But uses 850ma. I have an AC unit it the cost to run and the draw is much greater. Thinking Intake fan and use AC if needed during the hottest points of the year. That and I want my intake source to be different in the summer/winter and this will give me the opportunity. Any idea how many feet of venting I can run with a 4”inline pushing around 200cfm and still get good flow?

Good for you dude, seems like you have a good thing going here. I really like the work you've done here, looks very well done.
Thanks I appreciate that very much. This weekend I’ll sprout some white widow fem and some blueberry kush also fem and see how they do. Some of these are from seeds I gathered in the mountains of Jamaica, others are a family strain and finally there is an old vanilla kush that’s supposed to be fem, seed bank but back in the day so who knows. My family strain does well but needs some more rot risistant cross breeding.

I built two 120w quantum lights with 4 132s each. They are in veg, using the 4000k spectrum. Can't speak about flower performance. @MonkeyPickAss That's a low plant count in a 4x4 for veg haha I've got 60 in my 4x4. Your light looks great, wonderful build! Keep us updated once you get into flower, might get a little crowded.

New veg light under construction. Leaving little gaps for more air flow this time and I utalized longer hanging bolts to give a nice inch of clearence when placed on the ground. Each time I find little tweaks to perfect the basic design while keeping costs to a minimum. It’s all about the slow dollar not the fast nickel, at least that’s what we used to say back in the day. Fuck some days I feel old

Looking really good, and excellent use of the boards. Do you think 4k is going to be good for flowering?.

Looks awesome. What is the trellis material?
It’s just gardens string, I Made a frame with pvc and then put little eye holes in it. String it one way and then three other and wove it so it’s interlaced.
