Question about drying

So I flip packs and I jus got a pound of some king Louie in, well I can tell some of it isn’t FULLY dry yet. Little bit of a moist squishy texture and some of the nugs when I break stem it’s still stringy. Can I let the whole bag just sit open in a dark room to dry out some? It smells pretty good will this effect the smell? Or is it alright to keep in the bag closed up?

At the cure stage I use a paper bag during the low humidity time of day. If atmospheric humidity isn't below your target moisture its not gonna dry. When it is lower that's when I put cannabis in a paper bag for maybe 20 minutes, then back in the storage jar with a humidity meter until the next day. The next morning the humidity meter tells me how much drying occurred. Maybe you can do something similar with just a plastic bag. Some folks like humidity packs.

Weigh before and after the extra drying so you can ask for a rebate.

Actually I tested the humidity inside the ziplock and it’s at 56% steady… so it must not be that wet.

Good idea, but honestly I got an extra 20 grams so should be good and also my response to the other guy was the humidity inside the bag is 56%-57% steady so it’s actually not to bad.

I bought the Cannatrol box. Very $$$$ but worth every penny. You can't miss. 4 days dry cycle and 4 or more days cure. Perfect every time. The one recommendation that I do follow is to hang the plant for a day to bring down the moisture a bit before putting it in the box. I weight the product beforehand and in four days it should loose about 65%- 75% of the water weight. It's done and you can cure it for as long as you want, or as long as you don't need the box for the next plant. You will wish you had two. Put it this way, it's one less thing to worry about. I grow auto's perpetually so there's enough going on as it is. If you can afford it get one.

Why such a quick dry? Their site says 8 to 12 days to dry, not including the cure

It is.
Really isnt priced that high if it does as advertised.
Still not buying into the 4 day dry, 4 day cure, but they dont make that claim

I just went to their site. Cannatrol.com. It got here fast too. Less than a week I think. If you live near Vermont, I guess you can get it pretty quickly. I kinda get the science behind it and it makes sense to me. If you burp your jar in Florida in July it could be bad, too humid. Or January in Maine, too dry. Also, 62% RH at 60 degrees f. is different than at 62% RH at 85 degrees f.
The Cons - the buds get flat on one side. It only can dry 2.2 lbs. of wet flower however, if you hang the plant for a day to get the initial wetness out you can fit more in.
I love it. I wish I had two. If I can get my perpetual grow fine tuned I could harvest one plant every 10 to12 days and put it in the box.

Does it have some sort of humidification and air conditioning? Their site is light on details

There are quite a few first hand accounts of people being blown away by the 8 day cycle, but you can always just put them into Grove bags afterwards, and really cure the hell out of 'em. Or you can just leave them in the unit to keep curing, from what they say. Pretty expensive storage box.
