Question about Meanwell Dimming

Can somebody clarify this for me: If a Meanwell HLG driver doesn't have an A or B designation, there is no way to dim it?

Thanks, so to be sure, because I have no idea idea about these things, there's no external way of dimming a "blank" driver?
 
Hi guys!

I have a Meanwell A/B Type Driver. The fact it is an A-type means that I'm able to configure it using a Philips screwdriver, right?

My question is about the fact it is also a B-type.
To use it funcionality I need a 100K potentiometer, don't I? Is it possible to use the driver without this potentiometer? In this case would it work? The voltage would be the maximum possible?

Yes, and yes, wire leads taped off = wide open. If you did want a specific dimming level on the cheap a resistor between them would give you a fixed dimming level; 60K ohm resistor = dimmed to 60%.
