Question about spore prints

Hello fellow shroomers. Quick question about foil spore prints. Can I scrape the print from the foil into a small piece of paper ? Or should I crumble the foil into a small ball I'm flying overseas and would rather my print be in paper than foil.

Youll likely contaminate it transferring it to paper. Fold it up and seal another piece of foil around it while working it inside of a SAB. Once sealed tape it to hardcover book under the dust cover. Also spores are legal in majority of US. You might be making this harder on yourself than need be.

I don't have an address there and it's international so probably will get lost anyway.

I know it’s too late but for future reference spores are legal most places.

Future reference.
Roll out some tape, put the tape on your print. Spores will come up on the tape.

Anything made quickly in machines Is inherently relatively sterile, aluminum foil, baggies, tape..

You can cut small pieces of imprinted tape and put it spore side down on your agar. (Works great).

Damn that's genius. I wish I new this back then. I ended up only taking 1 print and I put it in my wallet. I was too paranoid to take more.

Yeah, everyone is saying spores are legal. Well, maybe they are but you don't want to have to explain them to anyone, especially on a slip of foil.

Seems the great Paul stamets would put caps on his hat and wear the hat with the spores all over it. He wasn't necessarily trying to keep the prints but to spread the spores in the airplane and thus to others clothing where they in turn would spread them wherever they went.
