Well like I said before Fox Farm is tripping! You don't water based on the soil, you water based on the plant. How does Fox Farm know if you have a tree, bush or twig? Some people say weigh the pot, but that seems kind of iffy. On my first grow I watered on Monday and didnt worry on Tuesday. Wednesday I would take a look and see if the leaves looked as though they where wilting. If they looked to be wilting I would water again. With small plants I would water with 1 liter until I noticed the leaves starting to wilt on the third day, then I went up to 2 liters. By the time I was ready to flip to flower I was using 3 liters per plant every third or forth day. Your current plants are pretty thin so I wouldnt expect them to need a lot of water. Dry soil does three things 1. forces the roots to grow looking for water. 2. Discourages mold and mildew. 3. Discourages gnats! If you have gnats grab some neem oil spray and after you water, spray the top of the soil. Also pick up a small fan from Home Depot and aim it so it blows across the top of the soil and another fan to blow on the plants themselves. Gnats dont like to land or fly in windy areas. If you have air being pulled in from outside of the tent grab an old pillow and use the filling to cover the hole or vent. It act like a filter, just dont stuff too much and block airflow. Never ever spray anything on the plant! I repeat NEVER EVER SPRAY ANYTHING ON THE PLANT. Especially when its flowering. Spraying with plain water is ok. I would recommend after your first grow is done pull everything out of the room and give the room itself a good dose of Ortho home pest control. Every nook and cranny and along the baseboards. Then clean everything well and leave Foxfarm alone. Grab Promix HP, it has fungicide in it to prevent gnat larvae from living in the soil, Lime that will help stabilize PH, perlite for good drainage and aeration. It also does not have any nutrients in it. Foxfarm and other super soils have nutrients in them that should be good for up to 6 weeks. Your plants havent come close to using the nutrients, but then you dont know when to start adding nutrients. So now you end up with too many nutrients and the result is nutrient lockout and stunted growth. Another reason to go with Promix! Promix HP, or Promix BX if you want some coco in the mixture.
One last thing, I am not an expert by any means, just somebody who has had very good results and learned from the mistakes i have made so far.

So promix is the soil to grow in? And don't add nutes. Just water?
