Hi Boys and Girls
I am running a little behind on this journal so I apologise for that.Life some times has a way of getting in the way of the things you'd rather be doing lol
I took these pics 2 weeks ago @ 4 weeks young.I had re-poted them a week earlier to 3 gal pots of Sunshine Mix soil.
I topped them once around the same time.
I am going to be doing a shoot today(6 weeks) so that I can bring this log up to date.
I am working on a Tea recipe as I have not been happy with bottled nutes over the past year.I'll fill you guys in on what I am doing shortly.

So now we reached the 6 week mark.Plants are on the small side.Could it be the Indica in them ?
They only stand at about 8" tall but are forming into a nice lil bush shape.
I am putting up with Thrips again.I am positive it's coming from the bales of Sunshine mix.I have a sneaking feeling there are eggs in the soil.This has been going on for the 2nd year now and to be honest I am really starting to get annoyed with it.
I need to find a remedy to either treat the soil with or find another medium to work with.
I have been fighting them off with Neem oil sprayed 3 times a week to keep it at bay.Yesterday I sprayed them with D. earth to see if that keeps them at bay longer.
I have a sneaky feeling that the larvae are attacking the root system which may be causing the slow growth of the plants.Oh what to do !I just don't know any more.
I did a lil research into treating the soil with some thing because I was actually considering on dosing the soil with Neem.
What I did find how ever was a tip on drenching the soil with a Mosqiuto Puck added to a 5 gal pail.You take half a puck of the M. Puck and add that to the 5 gal of water and drench the soil.

Spinosad (spinosyn A and spinosyn D) is a new chemical class of insecticides that are registered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency‎ (EPA) to control a variety of insects. The active ingredient is derived from a naturally occurring soil dwelling microorganism called Saccharopolyspora spinosa, a rare actinomycete reportedly collected from soil in an abandoned rum distillery on a Caribbean Island in 1982 by a scientist on vacation.[SUP][1][/SUP] It has not been found in nature since that time, and was subsequently described as a new species. The bacteria produce compounds (metabolites) while in a fermentation broth. The first fermentation-derived compound was formulated in 1988. Spinosad has since been formulated into insecticides that combine the efficacy of a synthetic insecticide with the benefits of a biological pest control organism.

Ive bought it before at Orchard supply hardware. Its a bacteria that is a byproduct of the manufacturing of rum.

Ok so we have 7 girls to high light tonight.
The kids are lovin this Tea recipe for starters.I have a couple of slightly more sat pheno's that were a little sensitive to the last feeding and have a slight touch of over dose.So I'll add a little extra water to dilute its strength a bit in the future.She has 2 main branch's with branch's close to the main trunk
As it were on the 7th day of they were given equal portions of both grow and Bloom food.
The majority of the plants are Bubba/S. dude dominant.As stated I do have a couple of plants that ar

B. Kush structure with tight nodel space and a very sturdy trunk.Stretch was aprox. 2x
P#2Short and Bushy with slightly longer node spacing.Stretch was aprox 2x as well.She has a little more length to the leaves and a bit more slender as well

Bubba Dominant with tight node spacing.She also has the most impresive main frame I have ever seen in any plant I have ever grown.For her height she rivals any plant more than 2x her height.She is only about 2' but her stem is larger than the thickness of a pencil.

Indy Dom structure with slightly longer spacing.Stretch 2x

SpaceQueen/dude dominant structure.She the tallest of the lot and the most with log node spacing.Lots of branching.Stretch 3x
