One helpful hint. Stop shopping at expensive ass Ace Hardware. That place is STILL paying for those John Madden adds.

Yes read, read, read. And not just here. If you have a question, do a search. There is so much information out there to learn from.

Also don't read something on a forum once and assume it's correct. There are multiple ways of doing most things but the information you get in here isn't always correct. That's why it's important to find multiple sources. Basically the same way anyone should be gathering information on anything. Unfortunately people usually listen to their one news source and assume it's correct. You'll often find many biased opinions on growing or otherwise.

true i have sorta noticed that over my short 5 months of actually doing this and messing around on these boards. Im onto cloning next when I get this next light im building built. Then the perpetual garden yee lol
 
I would go with around a 5 man. What lights are you using, they look stretched? You may want to move those blurples to over the plants. I would also switch whatever nutes you are using. Boiling them, adding snow, it seems very odd. Get some GH Trio or some other nutes you can just mix and go. Than you won't have to worry about boiling and adding snow. Who knows what boiling the stuff could be doing to it. In the end we have all seen much worse. Your plants don't look great but for a first time be proud. Clearly you made some mistakes due to your lack of experience but most people if not all people do. Growing is a learning experience and takes time. Be glad they are still alive, that's one up on many people's first attempt.

well thank you. i boil them cause i run organics and GH isnt organic. I cant use my RO filter as I dont want a burst pipe from the hose line and all the faucets in my house are wierd cant really get an adapter on there. Plus all that free water. Im def still struggling with the feeding part but my soil is actually some organic coco and ive seen people write that coco can be a bitch. I imagine if I turn to actual soil Itd be a little easier. I either have fed to much or too little and while I use gypsum blood meal bone meal earthworm castings and general 5-4-5 nutes, I barely use any with every feed so its been a hard balance.

but I gotta be frank when Isay asking people to rate your grow, is like probably one the worst things you could do unless youre going to take it allwith a grainof salt and not let it bother you

However the derogatory comments to women on this site is pretty shitty theres been several remarks made about how OP needs to change a tampon or he is a whore like a woman for attention, that shit is pretty lame man and theres plenty of women on riu its like 2021, drop your lame misogynistic shit
