Not to point. What is a moral? How does one detect and measure its presence, shape, extent? "Morality" is a general term, and whenever I see the word "morals" that is never what's really being discussed.
We're talking biology here, and you've held up "morals" as a distinguishing feature. Who first determined this feature, and how? Does any of the literature survive? cn

Read the definition. Humans have morals, or a sense of morality, which requires the ability to differentiate actions, intentions, and decisions based on right and wrong. No animals other than humans are capable of that feat.

How do we know this? I suspect that many of the higher creatures - whales, apes, some dogs, cuttlefish even ... have a combination of problem-solving skills, abstract capacity, memory and opinion to qualify for understanding, and acting on, right and wrong. I greatly doubt it's a human monopoly.

Regardless, "a sense of morality" is a philosophical concept, but "morals" is not. It's a codeword used by dominionists and related psychoterrorists for justifying an awful ideology. You preach, and yet you squirm to deny it. Interestingly, the NT warns that just those are the lukewarm sort who'll be spat out. cn

dogs do have morals they know right from wrong thats why they dont piss in the house because they know its wrong. i do belive that there is an afterlife and i think that dogs deff go somewhere when they die.

I do believe that animals have souls. Almost a month to the day after I had to put my cat of 20 years down I found his paw prints on my dresser. They started on the night stand and continued onto the dresser and stopped there. I think as we learn more about animals I think that we'd be surprised what they know and how they love. We are their guardians.

Yes, God gave us dominion over all. But we are very lucky to have opposable thumbs otherwise things might be different.
