real newb,is this a pot plant?

ok, so I was like stoned one day and wasn't going to plant a garden this year so I was getting the last little bit out of my baggie and it had a couple of seeds , one was kind of busted upp a little and the other was a dark grey/beown, so I gigired what the heck and popped them into a 16" wide pot that had flowers in it last year(thiiis is like a couple months ago?), watered them,then kept an eye out, 2 days later,where I had planted the broken one something was coming up and then maybe a week-10 days later right where I had stuck the non-broken one,something came up, leaves look about right(wider = indica ?) but other than that it doesnt look much like any other pics I've seen of pot... I forgot about it for a couple of weeks when it occurred to me that duh, they needed more light(a mite leggy) so I stuck th pot in the yard.... heres a couple of pics...? if they are(and Im bored) could I clone these(even if they turn out to be males) and treat them better? just kinda playing around with the idea...

:dunce: sorry, I didnt really think so(well,wishful thinking aside,sigh), but the leaves threw me off and the fact that they came up right in the pot where I had put the 2 seeds...my guess is when I pushed the seeds in I also pushed in sonething on the syrface, well thats ok, i got me to thinking about growing some and doing research, so I think Ill go ahead and order some seeds..and oddly, I have half a dozen hps and mh ballasts(150/250/400w) sitting around(from when I made an lcd projector), god knows I can't afford to buy much :) hadnt smoked in 20 years and just happened across a connection while I had some tax money...

From that picture, i see 2 plants. weird looking MJ plants beefy leafs a mixed sativa and indica.

But i could be wrong. so troll away! :)

It kind of looks like a baby elm tree. I've got a few starters from a big elm in my backyard, but it's definitely a tree of some sort. I'm sure that's a bit of a buzz kill, but at least you know what it is not. Cheers Bob.

nah, not really, other than feeling stupid :) when the first true leaf came out I really thought it might be but it just never deveolped the way I thought it should be, but it got me into looking at this site and stuff, I dont feel too bad, when I was into diy video projectors I learned all about lumens, ballasts, making pretty big boxes to put them in(this was using 15" lcds to project through) , keeping the box cool(a 400 wat MH bulb AND ballast in a box about 20"x14"x3-4 ft long? been a while) ... sound familiar? :) , actually a little part of me is glad since I can start from scratch got my first grow! prob go with a strain I can keep short(3 feet but not auto-flower? just 2-3 plants for personal use , 150 watt hps shoukd do that I think from reading on here. I'd like to try the sutoflower but they are a little pricey right now> Pile on the noob I don't mind :)

Bob we have all been there, Few summes ago I was back in my woods thinkng every little seedling near my grow was my plant. Let me just tell you this, You WILL know when you have a pot plant. Such a sexy sight
