Looks great!Made a shit sifter today. 16" x 36"
1/4" and 1/8" trays
The last pic shows a slide rail/ guide i have intentions on adding. Keeps the two trays lined up while sifting.
Just need to make a collection tray as a base.

The farm was the only other one I've made. Haven't gotten around to making more tiers for it. But... I made a base that the farm sits on. Gonna throw some wheels on it like wooden cart. My worm pop is really growing. I must have 10k already, or at least that's how it looks when I feed them.Looks great!
-- And reminds me that I need to decide how my wormbin is going to look -- is it my memory playing tricks on me, or did you make one looking similar to this a while back?
Do it!!!The farm was the only other one I've made. Haven't gotten around to making more tiers for it. But... I made a base that the farm sits on. Gonna throw some wheels on it like wooden cart. My worm pop is really growing. I must have 10k already, or at least that's how it looks when I feed them.
I seriously like worms. It's weird, I know, but I'm really getting into farming. I think I may expand and possibly go for profit selling worms. I have lots of room for it, indoors and out.
I'm seriously considering it. I have access to lots of coffee shops for spent grounds. Lots of community Gardens around here too and farms. The input cost is almost zero, aside from the lumber. If you think about it, all the numbers add up and then I could supply my worms even cheaper than the going rate. Shit, I'll sell them by the 5gal bucket with media, eggs and scraps all in the mix.Do it!!!
haha good one!Not one single gnat in sight

Thanks.haha good one!
especially as we first read the text, then scroll, then see Venus trap
Beautiful addition to your garden!
Sundews and pitcher plants need very high RH. They're not as easy as VTF, but carnivorous plants need a dormancy, of which durring they do look like they're dead or dying.I had 2 tiny VFT's i got from a garden centre, neither of them looked healthy as such and both of them f-in died after flowering. I've also tried sundews and the trumpet types from seed, one of the sundews germed but died after a couple of weeks, the others didn't even germ. They're quite difficult to keep happy in my experience, i read that goldfish food flakes can be used to feed them
Same here!!!I had 2 tiny VFT's i got from a garden centre, neither of them looked healthy as such and both of them f-in died after flowering.
Can you explain your mulch to me? Is it only good for no-till, or could I still use it if I recycle my soil? I do like to top-dress with EWC, I imagine that it would help to keep them moist regardless? The white fire ape is really stretching up.
Slow to crown, but she was put into the flower room on the 2-1-16, she'll get there.

Give me a shout if you ever sell any castings. Just a thought.( ;I'm seriously considering it. I have access to lots of coffee shops for spent grounds. All one has to do is just dump it into their farm. Everything's there and already established. Guaranteed success and high quality casting. Shit,....I'm sold. Lol
just put the sifter on top of a good size plastic tote... and you got a place to store it too...Just need to make a collection tray as a base.
