Reccomendation for a small bong

So since I've medicating I've only smoked joints that I roll myself. I'm thinking a smaller/discreet bong would be a nice addition. So what's a good quality brand or model that all of you have had experience with or would reccomend.
 
Toro is beast. But can be pricey. I would suggest one of Grav labs pieces. They have many stackable, interchangeable pieces. They also make Helix which piece fit too.
 
How much are you looking to spend? Name brands get expensive quickly.
If money isn't an issue, Zob makes some sick stuff in all different sizes. Everyone has their own preference, if you really don't care how much you spend Sovereignty is probably one of the top names.

Currently i am using a "Bent Glass" piece, it was about $250 out the door. It has a 5 tube downstem, and a showerhead perc, stands right about a foot tall. Significantly less expensive than a lot of comparables, but the logo has already washed completely off. I prefer to see things in person before i buy and typically frequent Mile High Pipe and Tobacco in Westminster. Lots and lots of shops, in my mind its best to go look for yourself and see what you like.
My dad still runs an old ceramic bong, and it seems like the passing of Amendment 64 has made these much more available, i was able to replace my dads with one that was almost identical, for $35.
 
Something I have learned in my bong experiences!

1. 7.0 mm kicks ass! If you flick the glass and it sounds like a fine champagne glass it's sketchy IMO! I like a "thud" sound
2. If you are lazy about cleaning, avoid crazy percs!
3. Try and have them demonstrate with water before buying! Everyone's lung capacity is different a smooth draw or a deep chug!
4. Bent necks are great for avoiding bong sips of water!
5. Glass on glass always!

I have had great 100 dollar bongs and shitty high dollar bongs! Sometimes blowers invest more in the artwork of the piece instead on actual functionality! So look for that too! Good luck!
 
I will just be smoking flowers. I'm also thinking under $100. I can easily justify money torwards growing but it's hard for me to justify on the smoking side. I guess I value my plants more than myself. :)

Well at that price your looking at some over seas gear! So i would go to bong outlet.ca i once got a 7mm thick ass 17 inch straight tube that I love for about 100! Still own and it gets used! Also locally will probably carry some low investment options!

Yes! I have been looking for that piece, anywhere that is legit online that sells the full kit (helix, one hitter, bowl, bubbler, case)?
 
Try to spend the extra money for 18mm glass on glass connects. I've ditched my old 14mm glass in favor of a MUCH
easier pull. Ice catcher is really a nice plus as well, especially if you're planning on dabbing with it, makes the vapor
very smooth.
 
I been shopping for a foot high glass tube also, came up with something like this from the big place in Canada for less than 100. When you share a dwelling with minors it crimps your style with what you can have sitting around. I keep my pipe in the locked grow space, and will need to do the same when I get a new bong, so something less likely to get dropped or bashed along the way makes the best sense, so about a 1 foot size instead of the floor standing mega-hero-hiter. Or a vape, problem with that is now that I have seen the Pax Ploom it is the only one I want, but it runs $250 so the wife gets to be involved, which is why I don't have one yet.
 
Yea aqualabtech has lots of decent bubblers.. but if its between that and vape.. ive personally used a SSV(based in Springs) for years and love it, and only use bubblers for hash and to smoke quick bowls when im in a hurry. Alcohol and rocksalt will make any pipe from nasty to clean relatively quick, i do it frequently in perc pieces.

Ssvuser here, in fact vaping some bubba kush right now, 7th floor makes some kick ass vaporizers! And da Buddha can be had for moderately cheap!
 
Yea been vaping on some OSD i just harvested all day while i work on something. Is a constant companion on my desk for sure. Dial in the right temp and can make a bowl and a high last a while.
I want to order a custom one with a shot of one of my grows or something on it.. got an art series one my wife picked out now, but Id rather have one for each desk, heh. Glass is better for sharing so I always look out for interesting ones when i have spare cash on ALT or out and about if im up and able to get out.
 
Thank you all so very much for the information. I'm one of those guys though that looks at a $150 bong and sees a pack of new rolling papers with a new light, or an LED UFO, or a grow tent. :) I will drop the cash soon but in the mean time I want to grow MORE and MORE and MORE and MORE. You get the idea. :D
 
I've got a box of old bongs sitting in the basement if you want one. Most are large, all are old rubber seals, but if you want hit me up.
 
That is so kind of you, Trueno. :D The last bong I smoked out of was one that telescoped out from about 6" to 18". It was a pretty cool little thing. You guys and your smoking are all WAY more advanced than me. I have to read about wtf dabs and vaping are. :D

I would love to see those links also , I&#8217;ve purposely not asked to many questions about those things because I felt dumb not knowing ( I&#8217;ve watched several U-tube videos on bongs ) and still haven't figured out how some of them work , Kramer thanks for asking that . Boy am I going to have a lot of new experiences ahead of me , should be out there in another couple of weeks .
