Recommendations using crap I have laying around

The last build is doing great a couple weeks in and is just warm at best but I decided I'm probably going to sell the old fixture and try out a pin sink setup. Seems like there are a bunch of new sizes coming out and the build should be fun

After some time now of running this light I finally got a bit of time to run some temp numbers from the cob using a fluke thermometer and a temp gun just to have another reading to compare to each other. I was not sure what to expect as this is my first light build using a 4.25 wide heat sink. I was slightly worried because I didn't really see to many build using anything other than the heatsinkusa 5.88 wide heatsink. I wanted to also do this test in temps higher than inside the house that's air conditioned. I chose to use my garage after a long day..started this test at 4:00pm and the temps inside the garage measured 90f. I took some initial temp measurements from a few different spots in the garage and it was fairly consistent so I was confident in my numbers.
I'm still testing the lights as I post this and figured I would keep the light going for a full 24 hoursabd periodically check the readings. This is what I got so far..

General temp of the garage with the Acurite. I found this to be fairly accurate within a couple degrees.

Also got the initial reading before the light was turned on with the laser gun

First pic was the room temp at 10 and the last pic is the temp at 50% light output and the reading after about a hour

The last pictures I posted I had a hard time trying to put a description and its all screwed up lol. I will try to put up descriptions when I'm near a computer it's hard to do this shit on a iPhone lol

That's all the data I collected...in the morning I will see what the temps look like but I'm guessing the temps should be about the same I have heard as long as your temps are between 25c and 85c you should be fine or between 77f and 185f.

Ok after a full day of checking out the reading at different times of the day I found the light to be doing well.

The inside temp of the garage in the heat of the day has been about 92f but average max heat is about 90-91f. The high temp of the day outside was 90.

These pics show my max temp in the last day. This test was my worst case scenario as far as room temps as I would not grow in ambient room temps hotter than this for sure.
