for the kis about to rent a house dont rent a house wheere the landlord has anythinhg to do with your power bills

make sure ylou have to get your own power from the utility company like everyone else

oh yeah about what the guy ahead of me said check your lease agreement (you kept a copy right ) it should say on thier something about him being required to give you 24 hours notice before he comes over that has been in every lease ive signed for the last 10 years it should be in yours as well its pretty standard

I was also wondering this...Me and my little bro are going to be renting a place in March...He already found a nice place that said they would rent to kids. But, it's going to be a 20 yr old and an 18 yr old living there. So, I'm thinking the landlord will be thinking we might fuck shit up. Do you think I got to worry about the landlord snooping around?
Oh yeah, and it's a two bedroom. And we're going to dedicate one of the entire rooms for growing. So, it will be impossible to hide if the landlord wants to come in and check.

shit mine are slumlords ......all they want is money and thats all even whe i called the guy up for some repairs he never comes by so i just take pics and keep my cell phone bill for records to show that i did call them , also they live about 150-200 miles from me so thats kool.....my last rental place i was renting from was a studio and it was 700 a month with bill included i was growin in the bathroom since it had a closet and damn man had to deal with all the heat/humidity that would get build up n there....that place seem like a fucken garage converted into a studio so it stayed hot as fuck in there all the time and to make matters worse them landlords lived right next door and shit and my backyard was shared with theres so pretty fucked up butwut really blew my top was that they were goin into my place without a 3 day notice when i wasnt there and how i knoe that was one time i stood home from work and i kept hearing knocking till then i hear that bitch tryin to unlock my door since she had they key then i opened it kick and she was all shocked and shit so i changed the locks and sure enough again she trys to pull that shit again...till i caught her and she said that she was pullin equity out of the homes and that some one was going to roll buy so i said ok ...cleaned the place up and all had to hide my plants in the attic type area located in the bathroom so i waited and waited nothing she didnt even call to tell me that he wasnt coming after all so my plants were up their for about 3 hours in 125 degrees weather i was pissed as fuck two of my plants didnt make it out of 5 so that was the last straw i didnt give her rent for about two months ...she came to collect the rent and i told her str8 to fuck off right in her face her son try gettin all crazy n shit , i told him wuts sup but like always nothing but bark and no bite so she told me i had to get out withn a week told her bullshit and gave her a paper with the tenants right codes showing that we didnt have no lease or contract so we agreed with 30 days notice with no court involvement......:joint:

okay so if this is going to be in a room by itself...or another room that you dont sleep in...


make the room a 'storage room' and slam everything in there..... making it look full to capacity(well not that full, but full enough to where folks dont wanna come in and explain that its a storage room....you pay rent, you can choose however the fuck you want to in deciding how you use that room).

and at the same time making it look full...just keep the tent in the back of the room...only make a passage/walk way that you know and can cover up

so its 2 bedroom with 2 guys age 18 and 20 and another room for herb i would suggesta 3 bedroom i would think you would want some pussy at some point and having your younger or older brother sleeping over you in a bunk bed might cramp your style

but they also have the job to show.


just when you go....dont be all 'hood'. dress in a button up, dress casual and you two should be alright.


and i say that is a bad call for trying to use the whole room for growing.... at least buy one of those big ass hydro huts and contain it. you can at least say its a closet. if its all in the open...you might be fucked.

you dont have to grow big to yield big....

Yeah true, but we're fucking broke. We'll get a 3 bedroom if we can find one cheap enough. Otherwise, someone's living in the living room. I guess, whoever has a girl over gets the bedroom for that night, in that situation. No bunkbeds haha.

Also good advice. I learned that lesson a long time ago. Trying to act gangsta is what got me in trouble when I was younger. I look and like the preppiest, church-going, college kid ever. Never been fucked with by the cops since.

Keeping a nice PC on 24 hours a day w/ speakers and a monitor and router and printer and modem and whatever the fuck else.... and you're already using way more wattage than those CFL's.

I rent and I grow. Just keep the odor under control and have something not so obvious. I use a tent because it looks exactly like a wardrobe.... and I put the wardrobe next to it. And in the front of those and on a table I have all sorts of herbs and tomato plants. To explain all the fertilizer. :P

Yeah i know what you mean LoudBlunts. I mean at the moment the TV is left on all night most nights and stereo is on standby, games system just left on.

Removing these sort of energy consumers should give me the opportunity to run a 600 for 8 weeks.

If lanlord complains, complain back that you have to use a space heater (if u already got one) all the time because of the drafts.

I would be more worried about smart meters, smell, Fly-by with heat guns, etc.
