Yeah I noticed that I got almost 20 likes the other day I guess it doesn't really matter though.

I was about to post the same thing an hour or two ago. It's a completely pointless system when we already had reps. They just devalued a system they already said was devalued. Let's shit on the rep system even more!! Yay.

I avoided the like system for a while. I just use it now because it's quicker than typing a message when someone makes me chuckle, grin, go 'huh, interesting'. I still rep when it's deserved.

It's even easier. I've said the simplest, most devoid of complex thought, completely offhand remarks and gotten over ten reps, most of which from Reps Beyond Rep, in a storm of ten minutes.
