Obama lied about the ACA, his words, his lies.


It's comical that the kids on this board can't produce something like this video as proof that Bush lied about the WMD's.

The Democrats weren't the minority party in the senate when the Iraq resolution passed. The vote was 77 to 23; strip out the Democrat yes votes and the vote would have been 52 to 48 against the war. The resolution would have been defeated even if the lone Republican dissenter had switched his vote.

Congress isn't dependent on the president for intelligence information either.

The senate was only tied 50-50, giving Cheney the ability to cast a tie-breaking vote, until Jim Jeffords switched parties in 2001. After Jeffords switched parties and caucused with the Democrats, they had 51 votes to 49 Republican votes, giving them control. The Democrats maintained control through the Iraq resolution vote, and then Paul Wellstone died a few weeks later, which ultimately caused control to shift back to the Republicans.
