The weather is changing and my buds are growing. The cuttings that I took have not rooted after 2 weeks in my homemade bubble cloner, but they are healthy growing in the water. So I razored a couple leaves from the bottom of each, got some rooting powder, coated them and covered them again to see if they sprout. I tried it without with no success. They are under a 14/10 grow flo. Here's the latest pics.

Thanks man; just switched back to 24/0. I was in too big of a hurry to switch to just keep them growing inside at 14/0 over the winter. I'm in Wisconsin and would sure prefer to be growing legally if I was still living in Colorado. Sure envy you guys in California.

Awesome lookin place you live. You are right tho,no place like California..Wait for them to root then back them down like a week at 18 a week at 16 then 14..Then let them go all winter on 14s after they have roots...Then you can take more cuttings around april to get next years baskets kicked off...

Thanks for the tips and compliment. Got down to 47 overnight here so fall is coming in quickly. Probably will go straight from A/C to heating again. Hope she is okay on the deck.

Took a couple more pics before I had to do my regular LST'ing for basket control. VG was certainly correct that consistency is important.

Stealth growing... I like that... I sure wish I could let her go unrestricted for the next couple weeks till she is done flowering, but I don't want to blow her cover.

Put it inside a 50 gallon trash can..Might not get as much light but it will have room to grow up

Don't think I could get away with that on my deck, unfortunately. Can't go any higher and this is what I have to work with. Like the idea though.

Basket buds! ballin.

If you gotta stealth grow you should really look up some more techniques theres some where you can get more height out of it. Get a Rubbermaid Box start plats. LST as much as you can at first, when the plants start growing bigger and bigger add another rubber maid box on top with the bottom of it cut out. Just a idea my friend is using. But i like this basket grow. you should get a decent amount from that i bet.

Hope so... your idea sounds good... I will do some looking for other techniques too. Thanks. I've learned a lot this first time.

I gave her a break today and removed all LST hardware; will let it breathe overnight and then tame it back down in the morning. Got reading a bit about too much rain during budding and thought I may have really screwed up. This morning when I removed hangers the smell was absolutely awesome. Then I watered the shit out of it to make them lay down some so I could see all the anchors to remove. Then I noticed the smell had been washed away. Hope it is back with the sun tomorrow; no more watering the buds. Oops...

Awesome idea with the limited space you have. I first saw this in late July and am really impressed by how she's turning out. When its all anchored down inside the basket with the screen it almost looks a little artsy haha. Keep it up!

Thanks for the comments and yes, I am now setting her free. Kinda, or at least as free as I can. I can see a lot of growth the past 2+ days since deciding to bring the branches up out of the basket and attach them to the rim. Many new budding sites are growing from the branches down under that I am bringing up a little at a time. Had to tighten up things on the deck to give her better cover.
