Still waitin for someone to tell me where he aquired that F1Durb.
I want to call him out on that soooo bad. Most people are not stupid or egotistical enough to make a claim like that.

No...this was over a few years time...i knew him fairly well as well as many others. Most of the packs i have are handwritten and no package...as i said before..i and a few others i used to grow with grew alot of plants, held many cultivars etc...we have grown many breeders stuff and this and many others i wont bother touching...
I dont agree with breeding in dixie cups...
If his site was still up you could see my old grows or old seed depot...
Have not grown anything recently from him...nor would i bother..

Would I buy Smellboat seeds? No. I also won’t buy TopDawg or Archive or Aficionado. There’s way too many breeders out there with great stuff to spend >$200 on a pack IMO. Maybe someday I’ll decide to splurge on these breeders, but that day isn’t coming soon.
My point is, at least with Smellboat, TopDawg and Archive, they have a great rep. They produce high quality stuff for a high price. You’re paying out the ass, but you’ll definitely find some keepers.
I have trouble finding anyone who says anything good about Riot’s genetics.
So if the demand isn’t there, then why are his prices so high? It’s to create the illusion that he has elite stuff.

I think its pretty clear if you want to give this gear a shot you should do so with caution.
Grilling those who've had personal experience with him is most likely going cause defenses to go up since it sounds like things were very volatile.
I'm not trying to stir the pot I'm just stating that if you're that interested in what he has to offer, take the plunge...its your money and time...but be smart about it.
I hate seeing good people get taken advantage of...that's all.

I feel ya! It would be nice to own a Bentley but I wouldnt spend every dollar I have to buy one. The leather may not be as soft but my town n country hauls anything I need from point A to B.. just like I cant imagine the best out of a single pack of Aficionado would b 10x better than the best out of a pack of Bodhi for example. All their production limit bullshit disgusts me.. I couldnt justify the purchase unless I literally had money to burn..

Berner def had nothing to do with it, but I certainly think it exists. GSC is for sure and I have no reason to believe they lied about the parentage.

Is this F1 Durb a special pheno or cut of Durban?
I've heard that Cookies had Durban in it, but I was not aware it was some extra special Durb.

GSC came from bagseed that Berner found in some buds he bought for his dispensary. The F1Durb is some shit he made up, so no one else could lay claim to having it, making his shit exclusive.
GSC is an early generation of Cherry Pie that didn' make the cut and was bred by St. George.

You gotta take everything that anyone from Cookie Fam says with a giant shaker of salt. I personally think they either don’t know what GSC is, or it was an accidental breeding. And their secret sauce F1 Durban, complete bullshit IMO.
GGG believes GSC is an S1 of Cherry Pie Kush. Nspecta found OGKB phenos in Urkle S1’s. If Durban is in GSC, it’s not a lot.

Def possible, I have heard both stories, but i honestly believe cookie fam more.
I have smoked/ grown GGG at top dollar ; and done the same with cookie fam stuff ( even s1 pops) and they blow GGG out of the water. Sunset sherbert , gelato, etc, they actually keep killing it harder than anybody else. if this is accident after accident, these guys are the luckiest in the world. I honestly think GGG just got jealous.

Nothing of note. A few nice prospects, a few runts, low germ rates, ok plants if your Barneys Farm or SubCool, nothing that i wanted to keep, or run again.
If your interested, pull the trigger. You might be surprised, you might be pissed.
The info is out there. The choice is yours.
The guy has alot of knowledge about lineages and random info.
If he would use it for purposes that were decent instead of for being unscrupulous and shady.
I guess it is not easy being tied to a little black lock box you have to keep your methadone in.

What’s there to believe? Their explanation on where GSC comes from is basically “it’s a secret”. Plus, where did OGKB come from? They really let someone else get some original GSC seeds when they held everything GSC so close to the chest? It’s all kept vague to just increase the mystery and appeal of GSC. Plus, why haven’t they used the F1Durb in any further crosses?
And killing it? Yeah, they’re making an absurd amount of money off cookies hype, but I wouldn’t say their stuff is any better than the elites that have been around for years. Nor would I say their cookies crosses are any better than the stuff everyone else is doing, there’s plenty of cookies crosses I prefer to Sunset Sherbet, and Gelato. They made (or more likely found) a new elite at a time when social media and an emerging legal marijuana market allowed things to explode. Their marketing revolutionized things.

I keep all my seeds i bought. I have been more then generous in the past sending and handing out seeds. Thank you for the offer. It is just something i have chosen not to do any longer.
