Well, i for one need it since the other meds that i could use for my fibro and arthritis decreased my kidney and liver function as well as increasing my BP, blood glucose, gave me SEVERE nausea and had me so blown out of my mind that i couldn't function. i agree, MANY scripts (not 99% though) are bogus but there ARE those that benefit greatly from it in a medical way. i am one.

Btw, i MEANT persecution, not prosecution. The persecution comes as a result of prosecution.

i DO grow it myself. The dispensary was my source for the best clones in town, great grow knowledge, awesome friendship AND amazing charity. The charity part is the one i liked best :)

They gave so much money back to the community and members that it isn't even funny.

Also, that was Ryan that made the ill-advised statement but he wasn't taking into account their costs of operation. He was saying they GROSSED $30-50k a day - rent, payroll, benefits for employees, purchasing product, donations to the community, donations to some patients in need, etc.

A shit-ton! And again, they weren't NETTING $30-50k a day. They were accepting donations in that amount and then deducting all their costs and what was left went to charity (or was attempted, several declined to accept the donations).

As for no sales, how is one to recoup their costs for producing? B4L had the lowest prices in town, gave away a TON of stuff to members and neighbors (bbq every summer day, keeping the neighborhood clean, supporting local homeless and youth groups, etc), gave free meds to those who simply couldn't afford it or were terminal, etc.

i'm telling you. They/we knew that there was a ton of cash coming in even AFTER all the donations to patients. We even formed a non-profit to distribute the cash legitimately throughout the community and avoid the reservations of some who did not want to accept donations from a collective. They did EVERYTHING they could to not profit while providing meds at a MAXIMUM of $10/g for ANYTHING in the house.
