Root rot in Coco Coir. Root Aphids?

From what I have read you should rinse it not only to rinse excess salts, but also to rinse out the "dusty" coco that holds more water. But I'm assuming based on your comment you know that now.

You have me second guessing watering every day as I'm a week into my first coco grow lol.

Watering daily is not the problem. You can't ignore root aphids. His root aphids are damaging the roots and the damaged roots die (rot).

This is Special Occasion (Wedding Cake X Birthday Cake) I'm reversing (the foreground plant is the reversed male). These are watered every day. You'd have a hard time over watering hydro.

You water when the the plant/coco needs water. You can definitely overwater coco by watering daily.
