but if that were in a 20 gallon pot think of what it would have produced, 3 or 4 time that.:hump:
Yep, it's all relative to the amount of healthy root mass. Like I've said over and over again, folks tend to focus on bud production rather than root and foliage production.

I knew a guy at OG who grew out some Vietnamese Dalat in 10 gallon pots and got 3 lbs. of bud from each one. He used to grow huge plants indoors, took his hobby very seriously.

Again, it's all in the balance. I just don't see any value in using small pots (and I don't see any value in using oversized pots). Is it because one can't afford the cost of potting soil?

i agree here, fro me personally the 3-gallon pot does really well for me!

Peace
That's about all I use are the 3 gal black pots. And you can usually find them free.
I'm also vegging some bagseed in 39 oz folgers cans (also free, kinda). They were topped for 2 shutes as per UB method at 10 days and will be vegged another 21 days before going to flower. I can't transplant because of the contoured shape but, at 6" dia. 4 will fit per sq. ft. for the sea of bush effect.

very much so. the bottom of the rockwool cubes are pretty much just a mat of roots. stunting? smaller growth? idk about that yet. untrained these would be about 5 feet tall. one cola is trained from all the way on the other side of the 4x4 screen and still sticks up the highest. watering more often? nah. still watering the same amount as bfore. with 1200ppm an nutrients.
