Yep, it's all relative to the amount of healthy root mass. Like I've said over and over again, folks tend to focus on bud production rather than root and foliage production.but if that were in a 20 gallon pot think of what it would have produced, 3 or 4 time that.
I'm gettin too old to drag the 10 gal pots around. I'll take whatever I can get outa 3 gal.Yep, it's all relative to the amount of healthy root mass. Like I've said over and over again, folks tend to focus on bud production rather than root and foliage production.
I knew a guy at OG who grew out some Vietnamese Dalat in 10 gallon pots and got 3 lbs. of bud from each one. He used to grow huge plants indoors, took his hobby very seriously.
Again, it's all in the balance. I just don't see any value in using small pots (and I don't see any value in using oversized pots). Is it because one can't afford the cost of potting soil?

You're right, clear pots aren't good because they support algae growth in the container. Algae eats up N and the oxygen in your soil.i was under the impression that you couldnt or you shouldnt use clear containers. i was told it could damage your roots? you guys using the clear pots you dont see any problem with it?
