Changed the BG color. I'll post the new one real fast. just wait a second tell me if it's better this way. Otherwise i have to create a whole new BG for it... Made this whole thing from scratch. used a couple leaf pics i found on google. lol
 
its better but I still think there's a bit much "going on" behind it...lol..;) that said though...maybe you could darken the shadow on the text some..to make it more visible but still get that 3 D effect you're looking for?
then putting some green in the leaves and offsetting the colors a bit for more attention/3-D effects?

EDIT: I know what would work! bigger leaves...few and bigger leaves and have the edges kind of drifting through the text...????
 
That's gonna be the background for the whole site........... lol......
just gotta match it up so that the leaves run together.

That's why i have it.

I'll try to dull the leaves a bit with another gray. :)

just got back from checking and i now have 4 more female to show, that makes 7, waiting on the other 7 to show. i hope they all finish before frost. i looked in the farmer's almanac and it says first frost to be nov. 7. i don't think it would be a good thing to move them under lights after being grown in sun light.
 
Upstate NY outdoor growers run till the second or 3rd frost depending on the temps. :)
Don't think you'll have any issues with a first frost being 2 months away.

we were supposed to go to the Zombie fest today but my sis worked in the field
planting all day Friday and was too sore when she woke up this mornin LOL

that's great man!!!! at this stage they should be fine by then, just lower yields probably. But hey! you'll has somethin to smoke!;)
