Man, I can say only one thing, on behalf of everyone here at Royal Dutch Genetics: thank you for this feedback
You review's put a morning smile on my face, it's a real pleasure to read that people are satisfied with our strains. I work at RDG and we're always looking forward to user's feedback about our genetics. Our breeder has been working for years on his genetics and knowing that gardeners like his strains is a true satisfaction for him.
I understand the whole debate on the seeds and their price, I myself am a seed gardener, and I wish you guys could see my house and my car, you'd be deceived! There are big businesses out there but RDG's slightly different, we want to offer peeps some quality beans at affordable prices... and trust me, we don't have the growing capacity of some of our competitors!
Let's put it this way: we're artisans when others are worldwide corporations!
Thanks a lot for your post Sensai, it's touching
I Actually jUst picked up some of royal dutches trainwreck and needless to say I am stoked about running it now after reading this post. It is good to see a small based company that sells killer genetics with excellent prices thanks RDG for keeping your strains affordable for everyone. Now being that you are a small company I am sure you guys put a lot of love into your strains which is a lot more than I can say for greenhouse seeds which is a monster company. I say this now with me growing a greenhouse seeds trainwreck and I probably should of listened to all the people on the net that said greenhouse sell bunk seeds because the trainwreck I grew of theres was great in veg then come flower and the plant had dwarf sized buds to say the least and only yeilded a half ounce under a 1000w hps pathetic and they were vegged for a month so they werent small at all. Now they are one of the biggest company's and shows that they got rich and most like could carless to what they sell now. But I must say all in all the smoke was killer but in no way did the plant look like the arcata cut that I have seen posted on the net. So needless to say I will buy your gentics because I have only heard great things about your gentics and I will soon see for myself how great they really are and I am sure with you guys being a small company and not looking to make a million dollars in a week of your seeds like other company's charging high prices that your genetics will be a lot better than a lot of the bigger company's because you guys are putting more love into your genetics not just marketing hype. Now about the point alot of seedbank charge high prices yes breeding and stablelizing genetics takes a lot of time not really if you are selling s1's then you just good clones but anyways when breeders sit there and take two plants and let the male molest the female they are getting thousands of seeds now to tell me some packs are worth a 100+ is just crazy. I just bread two strains to my blueberry headband male and only pollinated a very low side bud on each of my plants with a q-tip and small amount of pollen I got about 50 seeds off each plant from my pineapple chunk x blueberry headband and my kannabia original berry x blueberry headband and that was a little small bud that most would use for hash or wax now just imaging if I let the male just molest the two females I would of had thousands of seeds. Some seed prices are just crazy anything over 80 to a 100 bucks is out of control just my thoughts.Hey guys, hey sensisensai
