I almost threw out all my plants due to a nearly uncontrollable broad mite infestation. Been growing 11 years and I've never dealt with a more horrible pest. I've been reading and apparently sulfur burns are highly effective for killing off spider mites.
I saw a commercial garden on youtube that uses and recommends them to anyone growing indoors. He said he ran it 2 hours per night twice a week at lights off with exhaust fans timed to go off while the sulfur burns then kicks on an hour after the burn ends to evacuate the fumes.
I bought the gro1 off amazon for $105. I'm testing it in my tent that exhausts outside just to make sure it works as it should. As long as all is good I'll burn tonight in my flower room with some vegging plants. This is really it for me. If this don't work it all has to come down. I refuse to battle this shit for 9 weeks of flower spraying organic products every other day.
Wish me luck. I'll report back tomorrow with pics. God willing after a couple burns these fuckers will be highly controlled / eradicated. I'll do this routine 2x per week until the 1st week of flower.
I noticed this one cat used a simple $30 hot plate from wally world and a small steel cup. He used a heat gun to zero in the temp at 300F. Much more robust and cheaper than the gro1 unit. I'll try the hot plate method because I have one on hand. If it works the gro1 is going back and I'll save the $105 on an overpriced tin can with a reptile heater
