Salt Water Hash? Rosintech? The game is changing!

i had some shitty iwe made from some outdoor. I tried to make rosin from the 120µ and got nothing... I still have a half pound of that trim.. Fyi never take trim is a payment. They sneak in the schwag trim in the middle. Belly stuff
 
Also, @Frenchy Cannoli you're probably the best person I can ask this question. I've realized I can make full melt hash with no agitation at all, just by freezing trim into an ice block, then thawing, then draining through bubble bags. Any input on what is happening when I do this method I'd appreciate because I thought agitating the water was necessary but it seems it's not?

Whats your yield on that method?
 
It was 7.5% of all full melt, which I know is low, but I only used 1 catch bag, 25u, and it was still full melt. I used some old trim so I know yields can be improved, but I'm not sure how much yet ad im still testing the method out. I've only invented the method a week or so ago so there's still much to work on
 
And usually the 25u is not very good in most cases so I was really surprised, the only reason I used 25u was because I wanted an idea of the full yield with little work involved as it's just at the trial stage

You don't need to freeze trims into an ice block either, trichomes are made to fall naturally like a fruit when ripe. Agitation speed the process that is all. To make an ice block of trims then thaw the mass and finally sieve the result seems very counterproductive and just between us I never freeze my material.

If you use your 25 and nothing but say the 190 or 160 as a catch bag the quality in your 25 will be really high because it is 45 to 160/190, on the other hand if you have 25 to 45 only then the quality is often poor.
I will be brutal with you and I hope that you will understand that I just want to help. Sieving is the most ancient process used by humanity to separate material by size, the oldest evidence is 100,000 years old. This is not a game that you can reinvent easy my friend, the only advance that has been done in the thousand of years of sieving evolution is the use of cold water as a medium to agitate and collect cannabis resin.
 
Hey frenchy, didn't realize you had replied to this thread. I never get notifications for half of the threads I follow or even the threads I start :p I appreciate all advice and info from you! I know you know the hash game through and through and anything you say is digested by me. The rosin hash I do not have much experience with, though I've tried to make it and got a little bit of oil. I think it has it's place for a select few of people, but it's not something I could recommend. Some people do seem to be getting some great product from the rosin method, but in my opinion, it's not a large scale thing to be doing.

The salt water being used caught my attention though. Is there anything positive to using salt water to make hash? I'm not sure I quite understand. Yes, salt water has a colder freezing temperature, but is this a positive thing? There isn't too much information about salt water hash but it seems some people are using water from the ocean to make hash. The problem I see (sea, lol) with this is all of the contaminants in ocean water like fish poop, SALT, plankton, and much more. I'm not sure this is a good solution to be using to extract trichomes. What are your thoughts on people using salt water?

I used to live in upstate NY but now I'm out in nor Cal, that taffy was the bomb! It's been too long, 18 years probably ssince I've had some lol

Oh hell yeah! I didn't even think about the coast out here, I'm a few hrs from the coast but next time I'm out there I'm putting it on my list lol

That's what's up purp! The salt water game IS indeed changing, there's the proof lol. I bet those are damn good. I've only tried gummy bears, cookies and chocolate so far, medicated taffy will be my next adventure
