Basically I've got two rooms:

-Homebox L w/400w HPS
-Homebox XS w/250w CFL

The original plan was to use the latter for vegging and get some sort of perpetual harvest going on.

So once at least some of the WWs and AKs are harvested, I'll move the rest under the HPS.

Just be aware that the lens(es) you invest in are way more important than the camera itself

Just for fun... My skinniest WW that got kicked out of the HPS room to make space for another Warlock. She's been under 12/12 for exactly 43 days now.

I've been dry for over 2 months, and since I don't like CFLs for flowering I might have to chop her earlier than I'd like to. Not too worried as I have 7 more just like her, but beefier. Will probably start flushing in a few days and harvest in about 10. Should give me the kind of high I'm looking for, since I prefer more THC than CBD & CBN (cloudy vs amber trichomes)

plant is lookin good thos my WW is still flowerin out and i agree about the higher thc vs cbn. but its a gamble sumtimes waiting long enough to stay cloduy but not turn amber lol

still no amber trichs but no new groth. I say another 2-3 weeks for the rest, but the one pictured is getting chopped next week

Sad day today, as I discovered that 2 of my 3 remaining Flo plants were hermies (perhaps even just pure males!) so I slaughtered them. Fuck feminized seeds!

So now I'm down to 2 Warlocks, 1 Flo, 7 AK-47s and 8 White Widows.

On a brighter note the Warlcok in the HPS room is doing great! so far the largest, sturdiest plant I've ever grown

funny enough the Flo seeds came from one of the biggest Dutch seed banks: Dutch Passion.

I know DJ Short (breeder of Blueberry, Flo, etc) is totally against feminized seeds, so I don't know how he allowed DP to fuck up his awesome genetics.

Fuck Dutch Passion and fuck gibberellic acid that make feminized (read hermaphrodite) seeds.

Being a newlywed things have been mad hectic. But anyways...

I'm having a slight problem with the canopy as the Warlocks are way taller than the AK's and WW's, so I have to keep the light higher than I would like.





Not so worried, as the WW's should be done in one week to ten days maximum. Last night I harvested the one pictured a few posts above, as just stopped growing and matured pretty quick.

It's bad guys... real bad.

A few days ago I had to leave for the night, and since my neighborhood is prone to robberies, I decided to unplug the AC and close the window for the night.

Note that my Homeboxs are in my bedroom, and since I have cats, I keep the bedroom closed at all times. One of my cats is a pothead

So the next day I returned home, walked in the bedroom and immediately felt the warm, humid air on my skin. I immediately knew that it couldn't have been good for the plants, so I checked my Homebox and they were all fine... or so I thought!

Today I discovered that 4 out 0f my 7 AK-47 colas (extremely dense nugs btw) were slightly discolored to a grayish pale-brown color. At first I thought they got burnt by the HPS, but I realized that wasn't possible since I raised the lamp way hight to accommodate the Warlocks and Flo. My worst fears had come true: BUD ROT!!!

At first I wasn't sure so I lightly tugged one of the cola's bud leafs- it immediately came off, and had a very bizarre brown color which I hadn't encountered in my limited time of growing. With my fingers I pushed way two buds and noticed most of the inner growth was brownish and for lack of a better word, "mushy".

I was especially sad when I noticed that 4 (maybe there's more but I haven't found any) of the 7 have been hit by my stupidity. It was all prefect 'til

I had to cut off a good 3-4 inches of each of the 4 colas. That's a lot when you consider that I only veg'd 'em for less than 2 weeks. Might have taken a good 15-25% off each of those plants

On the bright side the rot in all cases was only on the tops, and I did cut off wide enough margins to make sure I got all that nasty shit out. In the process of course I did cut one of my fingers in the process and accidentally snapped one of stems in half; enough to f#ck up the xylem and phloem. So what the hell, I harvested it. It's now hang-drying next to one of the Widows (right) I harvested 2 days ago




The AK... remember those long, pointy tops?




Well they've been reduced to this stub of a cola




Carved out and left hollow...




I've definitely learnt my lesson from this grow.
