Sativa or Indica?

This plant is from bag seed and I'm having a hard time figuring out what kind of weed it is. Could someone please identify for me? :bigjoint:

Way too early to tell. Crosses and pures are good, if they're good. You might get a gem, some good smoke, shwag, seeds, male. You wont know untill you start flowering.

bag seeds are the children of weed you paid money for and enjoyed previously. that should be an indicator of the quality

the weed from which the seeds came gives you an idea of the skill level of the person growing it since more than likely they affected the quality.i doubt that even half the people (myself included) can grow most plants to their full potential without perverting (good or bad) what would become of it in the environment its specific sub-species originated in.either way the cool thing about bagseed is it is what you make it,even though they can contain an unstabilized gene pool due to wind pollination or a not too keen eye in the growroom.hope it turns out to be a girl rosey peach, good luck

don't laugh....I have a clamp light with a 100 watt cfl positioned about two inches from the top of the plant for now. Trying to get up to the 5th or 6th node to top it but I also am considering doing LST either on this one or one of the new ones. The main stem is getting thicker every day. It's awesome watching it grow.

^i second that.and hey a 100w cfl aint bad at all ive seen less with more plants before.Lst'ing is def. something cool to employ and will help strengthen.also all the shapes & directions you can manipulate it to are always interesting and can be beneficial to getting more light penetration to lower vegetation since you only have light coming from one direction.
how far along is it?and what nutrients do you plan on putting in play once the time comes?

well she is working on her fifth node, the leaves came out to play today. She is approximately 5 weeks old, I started her outside on the porch but she didn't grow hardly at all. Brought it in about 2 weeks ago and boy the new growth has been fantastic! in five days she got 2 new nodes. Barely nuting with highly diluted miracle grow, backed off when I noticed some yellowing at the tip of one of my bottom leaves. PS..I'm assuming its a she :)

I'm using hyponex by scotts potting soil. I topped it last night. Can I top and LST it at the same time?

its good that hyponex doesnt come hot,but for next transplant you might want to either change it up or lighten it a good amount with some perlite or sphagnum moss.i used soil very similar to hyponex's makeup for about a year and when i got tired of heavy soil i just made my own much lighter mix and the root/plant development improved very much all through the grow compared to previous cycles.back to your question though while your in veg as far as training/topping goes the sky is the limit.yes it does stress the plant but she will quickly develop knuckles and bounce right back all the while developing chutes from all top sites.as long as you give her time to recover before flower she should live a full normal productive life, with some badass curves;-)

sounds great! I will def lighten up the mix on my next go round. Do you know about how long it may take her to veg, bloom and be ready to harvest since I'm growing inside with the CFL I have? the regular schedule or can I speed things up a bit?

harvest estimation is definitely a very scenario-sensitive guessing gamein theory 12/12 from seed or asap in your position could shorten the cycle.as your subject seems to be an indica dom. hybrid its cycle might be similar to my terryberry creation which is also an indica dom. hybrid.not sayin theyll be identical but this is how my attempt at speeding up my cycle went.
All together the plants went from breaking the soil to hanging in 2 months 22 days (82 days)
veg time-3 weeks 3 days (24 days)
flower time- 1 month 29 days (59 days)
height at haarvest-25 in.
i gave them zero nutes until they were 1 week into flower,at about 3/4 strength casually more than every other water.also transplanting to 1 gal bucket.
i topped one of the two with slight lst'ing and she produced 9 colas and very little undergrowth w/o much interference from me.the topped girl gave me about 6g's more than the single cola, and by their harvest on 4/20 i got 32g's from the single cola and 38g's from the topped trained girl.
long story short training the plant can make flowering take longer as your taking more time to veg but if you can get some more lights then the time spent vegging will be worth it at harvest.indoor without an HID a larger topped/trained plant grown with 1 cfl is typically not a heavy yielder.its been done but most try to just to keep them smaller if theres light confinements, otherwise once dried most wont have alot to show for all the extra vegging.

well that is encouraging. That's a pretty good yield for one plant, and I've got 5 more that I'm hoping do well. May I ask what kind of lights you are using to get that kind of yield? I was considering buying another couple of clamp lights and throwing 2 more 100 watt cfl's in them. Or would that be spinning my wheels? BTW I replanted my seedlings today in schultz moisture retaining soil. They are pretty leggy so I buried them as far up the stem as the peat pots would allow. Thinking I may replant in something a bit bigger for them to stay in, like some 1 or 2 gallon containers.

PS its starting to smell like heaven in there!

thanks my girls were most likely showing hybrid vigor because they were f1's but i have a huge seed stock so im hoping i dont have to make f2's and just keep backcrossing for stability.until they hit week 5 flower they were under a 400w mh,then for their last 3 weeks i hooked up a 1000w mh to finish em off.i would have used the 1k for some veg and their whole flower but i actually didnt get it til week 5 when it was given to me for free.i believe that the 400 would have gotten close to the same yield though due to how good the ladies were performing in general coupled w/ the terryberry's density.

i think its a great idea to get more 100w's, its difficult to reach the "too much" light point with cfl's,i love em!depending on space and ur number of plants you could most likely do 4 or more 100's w/o the reflectors, just get some y-splitters and go town.

as far as containers last cycle i used 2 gal buckets (they were about 3/4 full with medium) and even on the healthiest biggest plant it was nowhere near rootbound which is something i worried about.some plants need even less root space with the pressure from their dense medium since making them prone to spread slower.btw whats the makeup of your schultz like?and are your other plants at the same stage as the plant in question?
