Thanks again for all the support growers. Thought I’d lost all my sexy wee lasses BUT knowledge is power and it’s free from you guys (ZeroTol & purecrop not so much)!

2 questions:

-Any tips on selective harvesting/drying/curing?
-HOW MUCH LONGER DO I HAVE TILL HARVEST?
Thanks so much!

A couple of more weeks or so until harvest. You may want to lay off the Pure Crop, because the oils leave a residue, but you can keep using the Zerotol to the end. I have a room that I can keep at about 70 degrees, and the humidity about 55%, and it takes about 10 to 14 days for the stems to just crack when bent. Then jar or Grove bag to your preference. Some people say 60% humidity and 60 degree temps, but they aren't paying my energy bills.

Because of all the reveg, I’m gonna have some branches that are more ready than others. I’m pretty good at knowing tric maturity but would you suggest cutting branches off that are done and leaving the others? Do you prefer to strip before harvest or hang dry them whole? I was told I can use pure crop up until harvest, ants are getting in the buds and dying, leaving what looks like bud rot on small portions. Don’t wanna leave oil residue though. Do you put humidity packs in your jars?
Thanks again

There is always some bud damage outdoors, Zerotol helps clean up areas where you have to remove bits of buds. I often selectively harvest, and hang the 2 to 3 foot branches to dry and remove leaves later. I use Boveda 58% because the 62% weed didn't burn as well in a joint.

I ordered the purecrop to spray once and get all the final bugs, fungus and possible baby caterpillars before the final stretch. I have about a month left. Can I spray pure crop just once before the harvest in 4 weeks in your opinion?

If you research PureCrop1, it does everything but cure cancer and is pure as mothers milk...It's also very expensive. Nevertheless, I used it last year.

I grew two ILGM feminized GDP. They ended up 6' tall and produced 2.5lbs. I sprayed only neen oil every 10 days until the first pistols. After that I sprayed PureCrop1 at the recommended dose every Friday. I planned to use only PC1 until a week before harvest. Unfortunately, I started seeing catapillar eggs about 3 week in, and eventually pulled off a couple worms, so I had to add Bt. I couldn't risk it. A week before I planned to harvest, I found two buds with budrot. I ended up cutting them out and harvesting a week early.

In PC1's defense, coastal fog is common here and budrot and mold are real issues. Losing just two buds to rot is a GREAT year. I had no mites, no thrips, and only minor whiteflies. The plants did seem to like the PC1 foliar sprays, and were super healthy all the way to harvest.

In summary, it's not a cure all. It had no effect on budworms, and some impact on mold, but worked great on the little pests. This year I'm trying spinosad (bugs) and Monterey Complete Disease Control (bud rot).

You can use Purecrop1 late into flower although I’d never spray anything within a week or so of harvest. I’ve used it extensively and it works pretty good at controlling pests and will knock PM down but will not eradicate it. Has no affect on bud rot, IME. I use it for more of an IPM product. I feel there are better options to specifically target certain pests/issues but for a general “maintenance” product, it seems to work well…but, as bigboer said, it’s definitely not the miracle, cure-all solution that some claim it is.
