i didnt take flicks of the three jars full of buds and the 2+ ounces drying in the bathroom. :weed:


im gettin myself setup for my 60 clone operation as you can see! this is gonna be interesting. 1+ pound off a 600w doesnt seem like itd be too hard, but it kinda is.
 
i got about ten clones tjhat have been veggin for a couple weeks that will be goin into flowering when the other clones have roots. theres about 15 that are almost rooted, and another 15 or 20 that i just cut that will be rooted within a week or two. all these will get 2 weeks veg or so and go into flowering.
 
What kind of plant height are you looking to finish with? How many plants per square foot? I'm still going back and forth with that one myself. In a 3x3 box I'm thinking 9 plants with 600 watt. Maybe no more than the 2 foot range for height. Just a nice carpet of big fat buds. Or a staggered harvest say 3 plants a month. Gotta get the right mom for the job though. Working on that now.
 
not sure about height, probably less than 2 feet. maybe like four per square foot? i dunno. theyre all gonna be in large cups packed in. lookin for one large cola off each of them, maybe 8 grams. thats how im gonna try to get my one pound from my 600

what rooting solution are you using for the cuttings?
 
i use the liquid solution, uhhhhh cant remember the name. i also have roottech gel. they both work pretty well
 
say word...i've just skimmed the through all the pages great grow for your first time!! i wish my first one turned out like that. keep em green!!
 
thanks man! i was pretty disapointed with the yield, barely over an ounce off each plant. i was expecting two ounces off the larger plants. but now im finding seeds in the bud, so im thinking that may be a reason why i didnt get the yield, cuz the ladies were makin seeds

Hey Man, I could be wrong but I think it's more the THC content that get hurts a little more than the overall yield. Kinda like some woman I have known, once they get what they want they don't feel the need to keep producing. If you know what I mean.

Well, it has to be a little of both, because weight being x, y is going to be seeds. Then reduced thc on top of that. Bummer.

thanks dude. interesting. i just set off a bomb for the mites in my flower room two days ago. checked today and theres still some heavy mites on leaves in the middle of my big bushy beauty. so im gonna wait a few more days then do it again with the plant in a better spot i guess?

I'm new to spider mites. I just saw them for the first time. The bomb is okay, but I would treat a heavy infestation in late flowering directly as well, using a spray bottle with dilute rubbing alcohol or liquid soap. Earlier in flower, I might consider using a pyrethrin spray. Pyrethrins break down in light fairly rapidly (probably what's in your bomb), so there aren't serious residues. Everything I've read says that people have a problem getting rid of spider mites because they don't do a secondary treatment to get the mites that hatch from eggs that survived the first treatment.Anyway, so wait 5-7 days and then bomb again, and that could work.

There's some good threads on here about getting rid of spider mites also. I've used Neem oil early with good success. I used Sevin liquid once on a young clone and did'nt rinse it off. I won't do that again. But several things that I've seen to use they say to make sure you rinse it off. Not only because of the stuff in it, but if left on to long it can burn the plants.
 
lol was talkin to my friend last night and he just said he spilt som FF grow big on one of his plants and didnt wipe if off and it fucked his plant up pretty good. just reminded me.
 
Talk about ODing. Do you think the plant would get really high before it died? And WTF was he doing with strait nute over a plant?????
