Yeah man actually I just had to order some more nutes but this Mon/Tue Im ordering a 400 and then in another week (after harvest of a plant thats ready this weekend) I'm getting a 600w lumatek digi. take half my flower cfl riging to veg my grows 4-whatever im on then.

Anyways, I have to agree- sometimes the information presented is conflicting and all over the place, but if you have a head on your shoulders you can see over the bullshit.
Where i live, the law states that my home is my castle. Authorities need quite a lot to go on to get a warrant to search, but remember- they have to be specific!
And I agree with the FLIR- forward looking infrared- you need some serious heat to be detected... If you have atleast two desktop PC's then you are already running at least if not more than 1000W right off.
All in all, don't be scared. Everyone should grow cannabis - and lots of it- so we can flood out this war on personal liberties (i mean drugs) and make DC say its a complete waste of resources!

its the cubans fault... they set up grow houses and steal electricity of corse the electric company is helping cops they are being robbed..... my setup uses like 20 dolars a month
 
I run about 2400 watts and have for years and years. My electric bill is never more than $160 due to the cheapest electric rates in the US here. I run 2 flowering chambers, when one turns off the other one turns on, constant 24 hour power needs for flowering.

FYI The Police cannot use FLIR on your home without first getting a warrant, electrical usage is not enough for a Judge to issue a warrant. Imagine if the cops busted d own your door and found that you were growing TOMATOES, you could then have a very easily won legal battle with the police and the judge issuing the warrant would have major egg on his face, hell he would probably get reprimanded.

The things that will get you caught are stealing excessive power, selling poundage out your back door to strangers, having a fire or some other incident that requires officials to come to your house, pissing off a girlfriend who knows you grow. Loose lips sink ships. If the police ever come to your house DO NOT let them inside, go outside to talk to them.

Anything under 10,000 watts is but a blip to the power company, as long as you pay your bill on time they don't give a shit.
 
unless you're on a digital meter, how can the electricity companies see that you're usage goes up and down? they just get a number from me every 3 months that they come and varify.

Really all of this is crazy, these lights are sold legally so even if a cop was able to prove you were running a 1000watt HPS 12/12 they have no way to prove what you are growing. Not to mention they couldn't actually prove you were running the 1000watt because power companies don't report that information.

As for accepting it if you get caught, yeah that sounds nice but it does not mean you should be stupid about your grow and not try to avoid being caught.

Okay not sure where your getting your info. But here in BC they have these new helicopters that they just bought. They bought 20 of them and they are all equipt with this infer red for the houses and they fly up and down all the time. I have many friends that have just been busted after seeing these fly over so if you think these guys don't have these your very very wrong. Like I said they have new toys from the war. They have much much more then that. I seen a show about all the toys they have and if you had seen this show you would be very:sad: scard. Now I'm not trying to scare anyone here,. I'm just saying never think that they don't know what they are doing. Your DEA came to Canada with there toys about 4 years ago and they have been playing with these fucking toys so we know all about these fucking toys and what they are doing.. Because we have the Olmypics coming they are really fucking things up here. And yes they hydro companies DO report to the cops here!!!!!! peace out Headband707
 
For awhile I was getting screwed and paying alot more than I do now, They would estimate my bill so they didn't have to come into the back yard due to my dog's! Check your bill every month and even keep track of your meter yourself.... Paranoia can sometimes help you but at the same time screw you.

Its not whether they have them or not, atleast in my country its illegal to randomly scan houses with FLIR.
 
I have never heard of A normal (non commercial grow) grow getting busted by FLIR! Were I am it is always A knock and talk so they call it or someone narcs.....
 
they dont just ramdomly flir anyone, that is not legal anywhere they have to get court order to do so, so if they are fliring your house you prolly been under investigation then the info they get from the flir they use to get the order for a raid
 
They can't FLIR until there's evidence of some wrongdoing and they don't watch everyones electric, at least in this country as was said. But I'll add everything else I've ever learned so far. In my years of just reading of course and common knowledge to all who've been around any length of time.

What will get you busted is telling anyone.... Even a girlfriend or wife. As soon as that relationship is over if it ends badly guess what happens? The gf narcs. You better be sure you're with the girl you'll always be with before bringing her in and do not trust even your closest relatives they may think turning you in is doing you a favor like an intervention. It happens...

Even then there usually needs to be some kind of proof to back up her claim as in if you brag on here and she gets that as evidence and can actually link that to you in some way, say she takes your whole laptop...

Only then can they start to look further at bank records or flir or by going to your home and knocking on the door in the hopes they will smell it.

Even one persons word is not generally enough, there must be more evidence than that.

Don't leave a trail of evidence and never open your door for the police. You don't have to ever even open the door for police unless you hear the words "search warrant". You can stand right there and talk through the door, tell them you have a fear of strangers and will not open the door unless there's a reason you have to, whatever, just don't taunt them they don't like that and might then make it a personal mission to keep and even closer eye on you than normal.

Don't act a fool with extra money/fancy clothes/cars you couldn't normally afford if you are dealing/growing/whatever. Stay under the radar, way under. Keep all your bank accounts with only normal amounts of money. Keep some type of real job or a cover with your own fake business, self employed cash basis type thing. Gutter cleaning service doesn't matter anything to show where your regular income may be legit. Live within those means and just save all your money for when you retire.

Put money in many locations with absolutely no trail for anyone to find it.

And work very hard to minimize how many people you sell to if growing. One or two that can move what you have all at one time is by far the very best. Drop that shit wholesale don't try to be greedy selling 1/8ths or ounces to make more money it's really dumb way too much exposure.

Don't make enemies period if you don't have too. Don't be the tough guy bully who everyone hates. Pretend to be nice if you must and always give good value to who you supply.

And be careful about people who may turn on you if they're caught. Watch out for those that got caught by the police and somehow were right back on the street when there's no way. If they say a miracle happened, the cop did something wrong so they got let go, think twice about if that's really true.

Police always play that game of "if you turn in other people we will reduce your sentence or just let you go if the fish is big enough."
