SCROG? Will bottom stretch up to fill?

Yes I would cut them now. Every day you wait, then cut it later, you are wasting noots, money and the budz you are keeping need the energy now. Here are a couple of pics. I think next time we will cut even more out of the bottom. This was sooper rushed as we need to get a pull in. I want to redo all the duct as it is too long and droopy.

This is my current grow and first scrog, about 2 weeks into flower. I switched over to 12/12 once the screen was full and the canopy was about 5 inches above the screen. The older pic is exactly one month ago, so you can see it doesn't take too long to fill the screen.

So how tall above the screen do you normal flower? When down 14" or so? I thought if I switched the lights it would grow, 2 to 3 times the size it is now making it aroun 2 to 3' and thats to much. What is your typical "stretch" if you start when you do? Again , evryone Thanks , for all the help.

Plus , all you guys are running big lights and Im just using Led/cfl combo. Anyways it is a great adventure.

We actually let ours go about 1 to 2 weeks with the 12/12 cycle. Then we put the screen about 10 inches below our plants so it bends them all over. Then weave them in the netting, and keep weaving as they grow, for about another 4 weeks. Then they quit stretching/ growing long, and just get fat. Also I am in a hydro system.

The stretch is gonna depend on the lights ur using and most of all the strain. Height is also a mostly non-issue for me, so I veg until the entire canopy has been filled above the screen. How much room for vertical growth do you have and what kind of strain are you growing?

I'm running an ebb and flow as well, but with hydroton and smart pots. How do you like the rockwool cubes? What's ur feed cycle with them? Have you ever had any problems with the cubes?

I am kinda new to the blocks, but my buddy has been using them for a while. There seems to be only 2 issues for me. 1 is the algae and mold that grows on top of them. We buy block covers and tape them down because the fan blows them off. Second I would recommend the coca mats to go under them. Really helps the roots structure. We feed 2 times a day right now. We have all new pumps and hoses, so we are still dialing it in. Some days I give them an extra drink if I think they need it.

Seing Im a nubie. Im just using some bagseed, looks like and Indica or 2 maybe 3 and a Sativa(Lanky Bitch). I sorta just jumped into it, then saw about this site and the rest is history. I got plenty of room ,I just want to figure things out be for I get to far in. So how do you guys like those systems your using ,hydro? So they grow faster and harvest more than soil? How about taste? Is it in the "flush"? Are they hard to learn?

Hey fellas? Thanks for your input. Do you guys ever supercrop to slow the big ones down or to fill the bud sites more?
