I love your white pot covers, nice plants Sea.

I'm a mountain man living by the sea, your a Seamaidan living in the mountains, irony.

Indeed, Tetra. I do miss the smell of the ocean, and when we go to places like Guam, I feel literally like a fish being thrown back into its water.

The white pots are regular black nursery pots covered in white paper. I was continuing to lose plants and the only thing that hadn't been addressed was heat build-up of the root zone. So far so good!

Veeeerrry interesting!!

I'm glad to see your Connies are short and bushy like mine. All but one of my mystery seeds really shot up. One of them looks more like the Connies. The Afghani/Master Kush is like HERE I AM I'M TALL LOOK AT ME GROW SIX INCHES OVERNIGHT!

All your plants look pretty happy now. Damn, you and I could not possibly have more different views. Yours is looking quite nice right about now. I want to go for a walk in those woods! :)

Just be ready with the Technu wash, in case you don't take kindly to all the poison oak we've got. Oh, you like dogs, too, right? Big dogs, but very, very friendly (too friendly, Hazel stalks me, I swear).
I went on a little walkabout around our property yesterday, just because I like to stay acquainted, and I've found some more thick patches of the shit. Good thing I've been lucky, it doesn't bother me.

Ok, SO! A little update. Since starting them on Super Plant Tonic and molasses teas (they also got a nice little top-dressing of bat guano, high N) they are bushing out like freakin' MAD! The one little borked runty Conquistador, I call him Bork, is now filling out and has almost caught up with the rest of them. Wowee!

What's REALLY noticeable to me, though, is how ALL of these plants are bushing and branching out compared to my SMSs. Really amazing how different it is. If I didn't have to take them each down to get a topside pic I would, but I do, so I won't. Not quite yet anyway. :D

Nice job so far sea maiden. You do have a forrest of your own going on there!
Sorry about losing some plants! But I guess you learned what the problem was with the roots getting too hot. Never would have thought about that!
Subscribed catch you later!

:peace:peace man:peace:

Thanks Rope. It was a combination of mixing the fertilizer too hot (thought that couldn't be done with fish emulsion, it can) and things really heated up big time, all happening together. It wasn't until a couple of weeks later when I saw other plants that hadn't been dosed dying off that I figured it had to be something else that they had in common. Thus, the heat. :D

You babies are looking good! So sorry to hear that a few did not make it...which is good reason for growing a few extras. Been awhile since I have been here, but very happy to see you are still around.

Most of them are doing really well. I need to get some pix, but the way they're growing it has quickly become a lot more difficult to move them around for good photos. For which I am very glad, considering how late in the season they got started.

:o It wasn't your brother, was it? I'm having some deficiency issues, but I WILL get them sorted out. I am a VERY determined woman. Persistent, too.

Those Cali.I. x B.B. babies, OH MY GOD, hydro. You weren't kidding about them getting big. That may be part of my problem, they're sucking the soil clear of nutrients.
