Second SOG, need your advice

I am about to start my second SOG. I just wanna ask a few things so I won’t mess it up again.
I am using an 8x8 tent, one Optic 6 600w led light, 2 BAVA 720W and and a Bestva Elite 400.
II have 80 seeds, Pineapple Express, Triple Cheese and a few Think Fast. I will use 2l pots for veg and transplant to 11l pots before flowering.

My first question is how long should I keep them in veg? And how to collect the best mother plants for them?

Should I just move the biggest/healthy from each strain to the veg tent before the flip?
Should I top em and use it for clones? Or should I just wait enough time until I m able to cut a few clones from each?

4x8 tent or two 4x4 tents for veg and clones?

Dealing with one question - veg time.

Quick veg is 4 weeks, hard to.induce flowering before this point

Sog is best with clones that way u have 80 plants with the same needs oppose to 80 different plants with 80 different needs. I think you need a way bigger space for a project that big. But if I absolutely had to I would want to bud out a plant before I decided if it was a keeper or not so I would do batches and take clones from each different seed. Even the same strain can have traits expressed differently

Biggest and healthiest sadly doesn’t always mean best smoke. I wasn’t all that happy with my Pineapple Express freebie hopefully you have better results. I would grow a few bonsai mother plants and label the clones you flower and find something great, then fill the tents with those clones just like joe blow said.

Well with a normal SoG you will get some seeds 10+ of a strain then grow them to veg take clones of them. Then root the clones throw rooted clones into flower right away or after a week or 2 depending on your space. You let them flower out then chop and cure all the while keeping the 10+ moms in a veg tent. After you smoke them find the one or 2 you like then you take clones from those mothers and use them for your SoG. You can just use 80+ of the same seed but they all are going to grow differently but if you just get a few good mothers just makes it alot easier but then you gota have a veg tent for moms and clones.
