Secret Urban Grow

Did you tie 'em down or you pinched 'em?
Good work, nice camo grow :)
I tied them all down using twine and available rocks in the field. I figure I have around 45-50 now and almost all will be females.

I'm going to check them again today or tomorrow just to verify no new male flowers or hermies appeared, and then it's a wait and hope game, which can be nerve racking, lol

If all goes as it is now, it is going to be a real trophy crop and one to remember for a long time! :)

nice thread. I'd suggest when you start a plot. As you search the area a week before you dig, cut some wild native grass to the area. Leave it to dry someplace. When you dig your plot and finish spread the dead native grass like mulch around the area. Covers the dig from the air and gives the plants some moister mulch relieve.....

Yeah buddy! This is my first summer urban growing. Every year will be better. I have several smaller plots. I would hate to lose all of my plants if discovered.

I just decide to try the "supercrop" technique on any of my plants that were still obviously vegging. Only did it to plants at one of my urban locations. It was a couple days back. I have gone back to look, and all looks well except for one branch that I was too rough with. They are much more camo now too. Their shape used to stick out like a soar thumb when I would look from a distance. Now they are half the height and completely different shapes.

Looking just awesome man. One dense ass weed patch. Man I really hope you get by with this one bro.

Thanks, appreciate the support and the great tip for the deer away formula which saved a lot of damage. They have not touched a plant in the last week, and no new males!!!! WOOT. They seem to prefer and know the male plants, which I never thought would be the case. That was a shocking revelation. I'm sure the spray helped a lot and Ive never seen deer eat budding plants, but for the 50 cent cost of a gallon of that stuff, I'm not taking the chance :)

Alas, I am at the FINAL STAGE of my garden's life. It's been nearly 4 months of endurance, secrecy, battling the elements, and deer, not to mention a probable fracture of the sternum, and being gang raped by spiders causing an allergic reaction that took 2 weeks to clear up. But, to see almost 4 dozen ladies showing their pretty faces in a mass growth of green, and letting the pungent aroma of THC resin whiff through your nose, makes it all worthwhile!

Was out in the field today checking out the plants. It is in the FINAL stage where all the plants have been identified as females!

I pulled about 13-15 males and with the deer damage and a few casualties here and there figure I've got maybe 45-50 shrubs of sweet sensimilia!

Got some pics of the overall garden, now and overgrown mass of sprawling stems and branches that are about waist high, which is perfect, and about all the higher I want them to get at this point.

Since it's the final stage and all the plan;ts energy is now going to go into flowering and budding, the growth has slowed a lot, and all the offshoots managed to find ample light and create a full dense canopy of green :)

Check them out! They should ready in 4-6 weeks. Crossing my fingers, and hoping for my biggest urban grow yet to yield some serious bud and some pure sweet bubble hash! It's gonna be like waiting for Christmas all over again, lol.

The pink flower plant pic is not enhanced and just a button bud now, but the plant is about 2.5 feet tall and has almost 100 of these such buds :)

Nice grow dude. Didn't see this posted but how are you getting water to them?
Fortunately, I've only had to water them when I planted them and then fed them once using a triple strength mix of Miracle Grow Bloom buster 15-30-15.

I mix it stronger, because with fast growing plants, it's hard to overfeed them. Also, when/if it rains it'll help dilute it to a normal amount.

I have been very very lucky to have had a rainy summer without more than 6-7 days without water at any time. The spot is also located across a road from a small creek which runs into a large river, so access to water is easy at any rate. I highly recommend doing such a thing, planting close to water.

When I have to lug food or water to the spot, I use 9 2-liter bottles of water squeezed into a 4 gallon milk crate. They fit tightly in the crate and can easily be thrown over fences, and light enough to carry through the woods or anywhere else. Use 2-liter bottle because a 1 gallon milk jug will explode if you have to throw it over a fence or something like that.

I also watch the weather closely when it's time to feed them (about twice a month), and if rain is imminent, or already happening, I will throw the miracle grow right on the ground between the plants. The rain dissolves the food quickly and evenly, and it saves a hell of a lot of work! Just a little tip to make feeding easier. You have to worry about underfeeding a lot more than overfeeding, especially once they start into the flowering/sexing stage.

Quick question. I thought at one point I was able to see how many subscribers added this thread to their list of preferred reading, but I've been unable to see it lately, and I forgot where to look that info up, if it's still viewable. I'm just curious to know, and hope to be able to contact some people in the future regarding the thread.

I'm actually considering a super crazy adventure for next summer, which involved navigating a majot US river through many states, and am thinking, in the spirit of Johnny Appleseed/Kendermag it'd be great to either have a grow started, or plant some seeds along the river. Might be fun to see how many states, I can either start or contribute to a grow in. Just another crazy idea, but that's me :)
