Security risk High Alert!!

So about a year ago my cousin stabbed some one outside the fence of my front yard. Now Wednesday his lawyer is comming over here with my cousin to take a look at the crime scene. I am just wandering what I should do. I got 1 plant going its almost 1 month in veg. I am wandering if I should scrap it and start over or if I should keep it and hope he doesnt bring cops and ask to search the house... I do not think he needs to be in th house for anything at all if anything maybee just to be polite so they can sit down and talk? Well Help me out here fellas what would you do? + rep for replies.

His lawyer won't bring the police, it is his job to prove them wrong.

Id keep the plant hidden when they come, if it was so long ago they wouldn't be searching you house now.

tell the truth.
the cops need a warrant to enter the house.
talk to them outside or in their car.
it wont be the drug squad coming to visit and more probably the homcide squad and they dont care about weed.

I know they need a warrant, but what I dont know is if they have one or not. They searched the house one time and my steroids where out in plain site they didnt say anything. Also the guy my cousin stabbed didnt die so I doubt they bring homicide or anything. Eh this sux.

I guess I can just stay in my room with the door locked and if they ask too come in i can just pull the plant and stuff it in my poket and run out the house lol. I think it is all good though.

just dont let them in and why would they want to search you house if the crime happened outdoors and you have nothing to do with it.
if you are innocent they just cant get a warrant to come in unless you are in someway tied with the crime.
when they came in before did they have a warrant or just bully you in to letting them in ?????.
the crime scene is outdoors and nothing to do with indoors unless you are missing some details.

Yes they had a warrant when they searched the house last time. My cousin was inside my yard inside the fence and he leaned over the fence and stabbed the guy out side of the yard. Also I stated before it isnt my house so I cant really tell them they cant come in. Also they can get a warrant anytime for anything, they are the police.

I am leaving out a shit load because really its no ones buisiness. I just wanted to know what would you do if a layer and possibly cops where coming to your house and you are growing :/

weigh the risk vs return. one plant, one month veg (if from seed, possibly not even female).

cull the plant, be safe, start again when you have nothing to fear and anticipate.

what ever you do dont tell luda about your grow an sure as shit hope your not in luda's town.
other than that your fine. i'd just put it in a closet or something while the lawyers are there. They arent after you and even if they want to come in and you let them if they start looking through your stuff you can stop them at any point and ask them to leave. i seriously doubt they even really care what your up to.

if you are a permanent resident there and the homeowner didnt give them permission you have the authority to deny a search. you still have a right to privacy even if its not your name on the mortgage
or atleast in GA you do

have you ever been involved with that type of thing. it takes a long time just to get the evidence worked out. I dont think they would need to go inside but you never know. Especially if he is inolved with the incident

Cool deal, Yeah so I just got off of the phone with my cuz he says they just want to re-enact what happened and all that good stuff because the guy he stabbed wants to take it to court instead of dropping charges and blah blah blah. Looks like Im g2g. I dont really feel to paranoid either so I hope all goes well. Thanks for the tips everyone who replied. Back to raking the yard...eh

Im not involved but I think they had to seach the house when it happened just to look for the evidence cause my cousin hauled ass and ran after he did it. So they where just doing theyre jobs.

Since the incident took place over a year ago there is no reason for them to come inside and search the house. You should be just fine. I would still take some extra steps to hide things though until they are done with whatever investigation they are conducting.

- and of course you have the same rights as the owner of the property, as long as you legally reside there.
