I can understand that argument. You should check out the next video in the series. It's called Zeitgeist Addendum.

It's like a parts 4,5,6. Each of which deal with different topics than the first video.

Part 4 is the really good part.

Retain your skepticism and just take in what they're saying, it'll blow your mind.

Also, you can find just as much garbage information in books these days.

Obama says he will create 2 million new jobs with this money.... it works out to 275,000 per job. Now that is efficiency isn't it? the destruction has just begun.... the medicine will be worse than the disease...... oh my..

I'm the reality check ... it is in short supply. I don't think you realize the extent that this is going to play out. It's nice to be hopeful, but just make sure it's not false hope. So far, I'm not seeing good stewardship plans. Obama's plans seem to be the long way round the barn. This is not a parallel of FDR that he should emulate.

A good boy scout is vigilant and prepared.... :lol:

There's time, ....but going through the PUBLIC sector is the slowest and certainly the most inefficient way to get there....if we ever do at all.

Washington set up this entire meltdown and now they say they can fix it? I don't believe it. I just don't..... not from the plans I've seen. Obama need to rise above BOTH parties to truly bring change.

Just because I am a hopeful person, doesn't mean I'm not prepared. I am a survivalist. I have planned for an anti-government country for a long time now. Let's HOPE it doesn't come to that.Let's HOPE Obama rises above both parties!Lets's HOPE 4-8 years is long enough for him to bring true change. Because Hope is one thing every american needs. What have you done lately to help your country in the crisis it's in? Or do you, like most, just complain!

Yeah he is, but I voted for him. So I have to hope he will help. If not, I think alot of people are ready to rise up. There is a greater awareness, I think, now more than ever of what is TRULY going on.And thanks but I've never really been much of a lucky guy. I shoot straight though so that will help.

While I do believe that if the worst happens.... economic stagnation via HUGE public debt and risk aversion, coupled with two or three foreign policy crisis' a great chasm of poverty could open.

However, I do NOT see any sort of indication that a cohesive revolution would take place. More like simple anarchy.... shoot your neighbor sort of stuff..... we have raised and been raised to be quite spoiled.... if thrown down to second or third tier status... our society might crack. It might. Just don't look for any organizational salvation to replace it..... that usually doesn't happen. Usually tyranny steps into the gap.

That doesn't sound good. I think your right though. At first it would be simple anarchy. But dont' you think maybe someday, people will realize how much easier it is when working together in small communities. I mean I know of a few of self sustained communities in the northwest US(where i'm from),Mexico(where I lived off and on), and here in Hawaii I stay on a 30 acre farm where about 10 people live and farm. I think it is possible once the initial chaos is over. But during that I will be up on a mountain with my girl, my dogs, and whole lotta guns. Smokin fattys , and cropping wide!!!!

But really it's a great place especially Big Island. There is a farmers market every day of week. And so much fruit just growing wild. Can definately live off the land over here. Also the ganja grows all year long... Pure Sun...
