Seedlings Going into 5th Week of Vegg. Kinda Small

Hey I'm using The Jump Start Hydro farm set. The 2 foot in Width. Also a 150 Watt Light With a 100 Watt Eco Life Florescent Bulb. Also the T5 Is 24 Watts. I also have a 250 Watt Work Light. Its the Orange light. 1 Small fan blowing. My plants are about 7 to 9 Inches Tall. They are 2 days into the 5th Week of Vegg. I want to Send into flowing but they are kinda small for that. Would it be a good idea to send into flowing. My grow space is not that big either. Plants are from seed.They have many Leaves though and are really healthy. Still needs to be replanted though. I need help Ideas and opinions please....:joint: :hump:

Dont know.. but I use a 600w and in 5wks my plant from *seed would be 1ft+ and a clone would be 2ft+

I also just added the 150 Watt Light with the 100 Watt Evo CFL and The 250 Watt Light. I had actually been growing them only off of 24 watts coming from a T5 Daylight Bulb. Could that be why ? The whole Vegg month was off of 24 watts of light !

250watt work light? Is it a halogen work light? Because those things are complete crap when it comes to growing marijuana.

That's definitely why...24watts for 5 weeks isn't nearly enough for them.

It actually is !! A Halogen light ! I new I should have took it back. I heard it would come in handy for flowering I guess that isnt true ??

Yup, I'd take it back, the spectrum of light it emits is horrible, the lumens per watt is extremely low...Those things get hot as hell too, most of the energy is wasted as heat! You'd be much better off with a 250w HPS

So should I send them into Flowering or let grow a bit longer. I'd say i've got about 3 more feet for growth. Thats it. Should I send into flowering now then. Cause space is LIMITED !!!

If space is limited, it'd be wise to flip the switch now...Remember, plants usually double in size in flowering, and in some cases even triple

Ok kool, Do you think they would be mature by then ? I'm sure they will catch up to the size they should be, within a week or two. Especially if they grow more during Flowering. Cause My space is Pretty Limited. I think it would be ok If if I vegg a little longer though. I've added the new lights only a few days ago.

They should be mature enough to flower by then, just give em' another week like I said, and they should start to fill out, and you should also transplant into much bigger pots, that could be also be contributing to the slow growth.

I'm going to redo the 3rd and 4th week of Vegg. For the rest of this week it will be straight water. Then I'm going to transplant them into bigger pots and send them into flowering. Thanks for the info. I just been real eager to get some buds. This is my first grow by the way also. lol

Dont stop feeding them boss...And atleast 2 weeks if they get to big u can top them within the first week or 2 of flowering.....JMO's..GL

4 Show, since the Past 3 days They have gotten alot bigger since i've added the extra lights. I got rid of that Halogen light to. & grabbed another bayco 150 Watt Clamp Light. The come in handy so you can adjust bery bery good. lol lmao. Yeah I'm not gonna stop feeding them. I'm just gonna finsish out this week with straight watter. Then do the 3rd and 4th week of vegg again. Then sending them into flowering !
