Seedlings Praying or lights too close?

I'm doing DWC and going to try to keep them small. Gotta be kinda low key. You think I could add a little more hydroton?
I'd only add more hydroton if you're worried about algae growing on the top of your AG plugs.

You should start a journal for this little grow. I'll follow along and chime in when I can.

For sure. They will be 7 days from seed this weekend and could probably start a thread

I know i may be a bit paranoid but are they still looking okay. PH and everything is good I'm just concerned about the lighter green?

They look okay to me.

They are still praying lol. Is this one canoeing a litttle at the bottom portion of leaves? I know you keep telling me all is good so sorry for all the questions. Just want to catch something early if it's there. I'll be changing res later today

As the old worn out saying goes "A watched pot never boils" ..They're going to do what they're going to do and trying to spot problems "before they happen" can lends itself to creating more problems both with the plants and with your mind. Stick to your plan and make notes of what you've done so that you can learn from any mistakes that you might make. Not trying to sound harsh but that's just part of the learning process.

Yeah, I understand about that. I've read too much love and care creates big problems for new growers so I'm trying to avoid doing anything. I think I may raise the light a little to give myself some peace of mind

Your seedlings are already stretching so raising the light might not be the best idea. If you've got a dollar store near you, they usually sell flimsy mylar covered windshield solar screens. Buy one of those and you can easily fashion one of these which will give your seedlings more light without promoting an upward stretch..

which temperature cfl are you using? They pray when they are getting good blue light spectrum. I suggest using neutral whie as you want some red spectrum for root development

I believe 5000k. I've also read they pray when there's a mag problem? But you think they look okay?

Changed the water and pleasantly surprised with the roots. The red dots are where the tips are

Ive never seen net pots like that.

Raise the water line to ~ 1-2" below the bottom of the starter cube

that is for herbs, which have small root systems

No bueno for cannabis, but it looks like you are only using the net pots. Correct?

I'm using the system right now with an additional air pump and more lighting. Yeah I figure I need to transfer them into a bigger res. This is my first grow so just learning a lot right now. I don't really have the capability to make an extravagant set up right now because of where I live. Do you think with my shitty lights(cfls) and only vegging for a few weeks before changing to 12/12 that it could be okay for small plants?

Your only chance would be 12/12 from start and one plant (search solo cup grow) and bonzi it ..... good luck ;).
