Seedlings Praying or lights too close?

All's good. Yesterday marked 5 weeks of flower. Buds are looking nice and hopefully start to fatten up more these next few weeks

Everything looking right? Yeah pretty happy so far and not a bad time to learn lol with everything going on. Do you do a flush with the last week like in soil or keep with the nutes?

Yeah, things look fine. In hydro, you can wait until the last two days or so and then flush with water.
Saw something about adding molasses. Haven't looked into really but the guy was saying for flavor as well as a little bud growth. You do anything extra besides your nutes to help get dense nugs? I'm not worried about my buds, just curious about things to boost growth

Do you do a total dark period before harvest? Some people swear by it lol

Hey there proper newbie here my first post! Basically done a few grows from cuttings but this is my first from seed. It sprouted around 3 days ago but the first leaves still havent separated.
Is this normal?

Buds doubled in size since Monday. Looking tasty too minus the little cat hair lol. Got it taken care of though.

Yeah getting giddy now that the last few weeks are here lol. I've read some people will hang dry for two weeks after harvest and say it's good to smoke, while others do the drying for 5-7 days and put in jars and burp them. How do you prefer to dry and cure your harvest?

I prefer the paper bag method of drying and the typical mason jar curing with the daily burpings. A good thread about the paper bag method here.
Hope you're enjoying the holiday if you are celebrating. Thought I'd let you know the day has come. I'm going to chop the shorter plant this evening. Trichomes are mostly milky, pistils receding and about 60 percent orange. With it being my first harvest I've decided to do one a little earlier and give the Starkiller another week or two. This way I can know what I prefer moving forward. Once again man, thank you so much for all the help along the way and I'll definitely keep you posted

Appreciate it. Yeah, pretty excited. Gonna crack open a few beers, smoke a joint and get to it. I'll have to come back and compile all this into a clean thread once I get the final weight and everything. I'll snap some pics though and post tomorrow
I see why growers hire trimmers lol. Pretty tedious. Turned out nice. Check the double branch here. Anything unique? Cool regardless lol. Didn't do a wet weight but looks like could be around 20gs when said and done maybe just looking at the nugs. Do you dry your leaves before using them for edibles/lotion or do you use them fresh off the plant still?

I can't see the double branch. There are too many shadows of stems and branches for me and my old eyes to be able to differentiate. I brown bag the trim leaves (not the large fan leaves) until they're dry and then I use a Trim Bin to gather a bunch of kief. Your pistils are pretty white which tells me that this plant still had another few weeks to go.
