Yes, for the first 2 months or so, until it's "Mature."
You seem to keep missing this point. You should flower your plants AFTER they switch to the alternate branching you get with clones. Once again, because clones are 'mature' enough to grow alternate branching.

You will see larger yields and a more complete cannabinoid/terpene profile, when you flower mature seed plants. There are a number of 12/12 from seed growers who don't want to hear this information.

YOU seem to be missing the point. I don't want alternating branching you experience with clones, especially when the plant is in its early veg stages and is designed by nature to have mirrored growth.

But I do hear what you are saying about allowing a seeded plant to get to the point of being mature.

Seedlings look nicer than clones and to get them perfect is a lot more challenging imo...

Just another thing that cannabis growers can debate until the cows come home and no ones right or wrong. It's all about the setup boys and girls .

It's your point but I don't get your point lol, you think a seed plant is better due to its branches growing side by side for the first two months, before alternating? That seems to be a mute point IMO, and it really doesn't help me when I have a bunch of plants that have completely different growth, not to mention flowering period all in the same tray fed by the same res. My POINT is that it all is in how your growing that dictates what is better for you and that's the point that the majority here are trying to make. Hopefully you can see that point lol.

I grew Think Different, it's actually the first auto I've grown that has impressed me re potency. Not the best I've smoked but the best auto so far out of 4 strains.

or if you LST/Scrog, who gives a crap?

By far, seeds are better than clones. Clones are good if you need a quick harvest but there is so many other problems that could happen with clones.

You forgot to add what seeds are best for, for you.

They certainly aren't the best for superior quality production, the most stable seeds in the world, still have varying harvest times and nutrient needs. Not good enough for what I do, I need exact dates, exact nutrient requirements, exact days of stretch and so on. When I want 5% amber on a strain, I have only a window of a few days to harvest on time.

Harvest time isn't nearly as picky for corn and beans and peas and whatnot. Usually have a week where they're all going to be ripe from the same seeds, sometimes more. Not with cannabis.

btw... what problems happen only with clones? Everything happens to cannabis, clone or seed.

I do when half the tray is ready to harvest and the other half is not.....obviously this is just a stupid fucking argument. I like both but for me growing the way I do clones are better when growing in trays. And yes when I grow individual plants it doesn't matter, I have cloned plants right now that are over 8' tall outdoors. Doubt a seeded plant would be any bigger and wouldn't want it, it's was supposed to be a stealth grow lol.

Totally agree with Douglas there. I'm not going to waste my time and money on a seed run indoors.

Yup seeds are infallible ..... WTF lol. I probably lose more seed plants than clones by far, which is typically none .

I vote seeds are better. So bite me.

Clones are better for large production, running a bunch of the same clones will give you a more even canopy and you will know what to expect, seeds seem to yield more and have more vigor but sometimes take longer to flower. There's pro's and con's to running both.
