or your just a douche for trying to project your own shitty attitude onto others.. !
You should heed your own advice...
There are plenty of shitty, shady wanna be caregivers out there. But those same type of people are patients too; only much more of them.
I am a patient with overages as is. The centers are a ripoff for everyone but them, so I would rather help without assisting in legal price gouging...so I look for potential patients.
All of the "patients in need" I have interacted with, are either looking to buy low and sell high, or in signing up two caregivers, to get as many free meds as possible. They're not interested in a mutual exchange of any kind...even when free meds are included. "I don't have any money, so just give me a couple ounces a month free, and you can expand your garden and you can sell the overages from my plants, to the centers or other patients!" Mind you, that we are expected to pay the caregivers fees, utilities, equipment upgrades if needed, and other expenses involved in meeting patient needs, out of pocket. That brings me essentially where I am now; only scaled up...and then what do I do?
I'd love to find just a couple of regular, everyday people that are nice to be around when you socialize, who also happen to be in need...so I don't feel like what I am doing is a chore. Apart from trimming, this whole process is supposed to be something amazing, and enjoyable.
